Firepaw felt Moonfur building strength to her legs. She knew Moonfur was about to kick her off. Firepaw got away from Moonfur as quickly as possible.

Feeling the weight of the apprentice disappear, Moonfur allowed herself to fall backwards, hitting the cold ground with a small oof. It was partially intentional. Hopefully, this would trick Firepaw into letting down her guard so that she could surprise her. It was a good move to use in battle if you timed it correctly.

Firepaw saw Moonfur fall to the ground. 'This was her time to attack!' She lunged forward, using the same technique as last time and attempted to hold down Moonfur, just in case she got up and attacked again.

Moonfur let her muscles relax, hoping to get the apprentice to do the same. When she didn't, the older cat gave a small sigh. 'Guess it didn't work..' she thought, and, being discreet as possible, built up her strength. Then, she suddenly sprang up, trying to unbalance Firepaw and get on top of her instead.

Firepaw looked up when Moonfur sprang up in the air and tried to unbalance her, before Moonfur landed beneath her, she was fast enough to escape behind her. She then attempted to leap towards Moonfur behind her and take her down to the ground.

Moonfur skidded to the ground, quickly regaining her balance. Spotting Firepaw leap at her, she nimbly hopped to the side as her fur brushed the ground. Then, she spun, taking her momentum and jumping towards the smaller orange and brown she-cat. Hopefully, this would take her to the apprentice, and she would be able to bring her down.
She was careful to use just enough force to knock her to the ground, but it wasn't enough to send the warrior flying off in case the apprentice dodged. Knowing Firepaw had good reflexes, it was important to note the amount of power she would put into her attacks.

Firepaw saw Moonfur coming. She dodged the attack and tried to lunge herself towards Moonfur and bring her down again.

Moonfur winced a little as the icy ground grazed her paws as she rounded to face Firepaw again. Seeing her coming, Moonfur ducked her head low, flattening herself to the ground before quickly getting up again as she let the apprentice go past her. Then, she tensed up, as if she was going to leap at Firepaw again. 'You can dodge everything forever!' she thought as she ran towards the apprentice instead of jumping. Hopefully that would catch her off guard enough.

Firepaw saw Moonfur coming at her. She dodged the attack that was coming for her and attempted to jump towards Moonfur again. 'When is this battle going to end?' she thought.

Moonfur rolled to dodge, though Firepaw landed just by her. She flipped herself onto her paws and prepared to jump again, but she stopped. "That's enough for now." she said, shaking out her fur. "That was a good fight."

Firepaw panted, than nodded. "Whew! Good fight!" she said, getting dizzier and dizzier, starting to feel nauseous "Moonfur... I think I'm gonna... collapse again..." Firepaw suddenly fainted, her vision fading into black.
