RivershineSnowwhisper had made sure she had checked in without Frostedsky before leaving. Though she liked camp, she didn't like being confined to the small space. She normally had some reason herb related to go on a walk, but this time she just wanted to hunt. Sure she was a medicine cat and shouldn't have to hunt, but she had grown up outside the clans and knew how to live on her own if need be. She glanced up as she smelled another cat nearby. "Hello." she greeted, making her way over to the other cat.

Rivershine was in the process of fishing, something she did enjoy time to time. Somewhat ironic, but it was a nice way to kill the time. Okay... almost there... A trout was slowly approaching the shore, and she was so close to snagging it from the icy waters-
The warrior jumped in surprise when a voice cut through the silence, the trout swimming away. "Ah..." Rivershine merely shook her hea at the fish before turning around and spotting the medicine cat, Snowwhisper. "Ah, greetings, Snowwhisper. Looking for herbs?" she asked, tilting her head curiously.

"No." Snowwhisper shook her head, "I'm out hunting. Mind if I join you, as it seems you are to?" she asked. "I'm afraid I don't know your name though." she added with a small frown. She tried to remember the names of other cats, as she didn't really like being known by cats she didn't know, but she still wasn't sure of every bodies name.

It was odd to see a medicine cat hunt, but Rivershine didn't mind the company. "You're most welcome to. I'm just trying to get a hang of fishing," she replied. "Oh, my apologies. I forgot I'm still new to some cats. I'm Rivershine. Pleasure to meet you."

"Nice to meet you to Rivershine," she greeted, sitting beside the other cat. "I think I've just recently gotten the hang of it. So if your just getting to learning fishing, were you born in another clan? You don't have to answer if that's a touchy subject, I'm just curious."

Rivershine nodded. Perhaps Snowwhisper could teach her exactly what to do with fishing. "I was born in TreeClan but taken to FireClan as a kit. I was raised hunting rabbits, so I'm not too sure how to catch something as slimy as a fish," she replied.

Rivershine nodded. "Yes. I was born in TreeClan, but my mother took my brother and I to FireClan. And after, I left FireClan. Now I'm here..." She gave a small smile. "Really? Who is your brother?"

Snowwhisper ducked her head. "Fallenstar." she said. She never knew why, but it always felt to her like she was bragging when she said it. Or that others would think he was the reason she was medicine cat.

Rivershine gave the she-cat a surprised look when she revealed her brother was Fallenstar. "Oh my, how interesting..." She paused. "My brother is a leader too. Arrowstar. He's in TreeClan though."

Rivershine gave a small shrug. "I don't know. Maybe I'm afraid of going back. I miss him dearly, but I don't think TreeClan was meant for me like it is for him. I enjoy living in IceClan, with the rivers and rocks all around. The temperature is definitely a bit hard to deal with, but it's not that big of a change," she replied.

Snowwhisper nodded. She could fully get behind the other cat on not caring for her home, but she wasn't sure it would be completely the same if Fallenstar lived there instead of here. "So fishing?" she asked, turning towards the river.

Snowwhisper nodded with a knowing look in her eye. "I can teach you what I've figured out so far," she said, dipping a paw in the water and letting it rest there until a fish came by. "First you wait and are very still, the once one approaches you," she timed her words carefully so that just as she said "you," she swiped a fish out of the water, quickly snapping its neck so it wouldn't flop back in.
