minnowfin smiled as she stepped out of the warriors den and into the clearing, looking around the camp as she purred. iceclan territory was so strange! everything was cold constantly, but at least they had lots of water for swimming in.
deciding to go out and try socialise, the young warrior made her way towards a den she had not yet investigated and stuck her head in, glancing around with wide hazel eyes. there were lots of plants in there, along with a cat she had never met. "oh, hello," she chirped, swishing her striped tail, "sorry if i'm intruding on anything but i was just curious about why you've got all these plants," she explained.

Snowwhisper carefully sorted the herb supplies, removing the old from the new and placing the newest in the back so that the older herbs would get used first. When the other cat came in, she honesty assumed that were a kit. It was such a thing as kittens would say when walking in, and she was to absorbed in her work to have acctually have heard the sound of the voice. After a moment more and she was sure the shock of seeing a warrior shone on her face. "Oh..." she said, taking a moment gather herself before responding to the other cat. "This is the medicine cat's den. It's where Frostbreeze and I work in order to heal other cats injuries."

minnowfin nodded in understanding, "ah, i see," she smiled, lifting her webbed paw to give it a quick lick, "makes sense," she paused, backing away slightly and walking forwards so that she was sitting in the middle of the entrance to the den.
"anyway," she continued, blinking her hazel eyes, "the name's minnowfin," she introduced herself. "what d'you call yourself, stranger?"

Snowwhisper smiled. "Nice to meet you Minnowfin. I am Snowwhisper." she responded, hesitating for a moment before she left the herbs she had been working with to sit infront of the newcomer. "Is there anything you came for in particular or just to talk?" she asked with no sternness in her tone. "Because if you acctually have some issue that's more important," she added to make sure the order of things in her mind was clear.

minnowfin raised her brow at the stern tone in snowwhisper's voice, tail tip twitching as she shook her head, "just came to talk," she paused, "no issues here," she said... it wasn't like she would go to a medicine cat without a fight anyway.
"aaanyway," she began, laying down slowly on her belly, "what do you do for fun, snowy?" she asked, purring.

Snowwhisper lightened at the words quickly and sat as she answered the question. "I hunt. And I had an apprentice by he left the clan," she responded. The second part had happened recently, but she still had other cats to tell and calm, so she herself didn't feel the grief yet. It was a helpful skill for a medicine cat to have, staying calm while the situation was bad, but most other cats didn't realize it caught up to the eventually. "Are you new to the clan? I haven't seen you around before."

minnowfin flattened her ginger ears at snowwhisper's statement about her apprentice, the young warrior could hear that the medicine cat wasn't happy about it, "why'd they leave?" she asked, offering a sympathetic smile before nodding. "yeah, i'm new round here."

Snowwhisper shrugged. "He didn't fit in. He was the sort of cat to explore and follow the horizon. His departure is better than his staying and wondering what was past the horizon. When your head is stuck in the clouds you get into trouble." she responded, smiling at the other cat. "Welcome to Iceclan then. You'll find most cats here also were born out there," her tail motioned vaugly to the land outside the camp."

minnowfin nodded lightly, her mouth opening in a small 'o' shape. "ah, i get it," she said, offering a tiny smile, "well, i wish them the best anyway," she said, deciding to try drop the topic.
"thank you," the ginger tabby continued, "well it's nice to know that most of them understand how difficult it is trying to get used to being around so many others... it's pretty strange."

minnowfin nodded in agreement, "the rocks are fine, i'm used to that... but it's so cold!" she exclaimed, "i don't understand how so many cats could live here, not that i'm complaining. afterall, it is my home now," she smiled at the thought.

minnowfin nodded, "really, who's your brother? anyone i might've met?" she asked, tilting her head slightly as she smiled. "i'm guessing that's why you became a medicine cat then? to be honest, i'm not one to fight constantly either... but the joy of kicking some enemy ass is irreplaceable.

"Yes, you would." she responded, "Fallenstar is my brother." she wasn't sure how she felt about sharing the fact, as she didn't like people thinking that was how she had gotten her job. She had gotten her job through Cloudclan, just as all other medicine cat apprentices did. "Well with that and previously knowing a little, yep. I became medicine cat shortly after joining."

minnowfin nodded, letting out a small 'ohh' noise, "so he wasn't born here either? i wouldn't expect the native clanmates to just let some former loner or rogue lead their clan," she stated, swishing her ginger tail. "knowing a 'little' as in what?" she asked, tilting her head, "is it that weird cloudclan stuff that all our clanmates seem to believe in?"
