Loki looked at Luc with a look that said 'who do you think you are?' This cat confused him more and more. One second he acted like a kit, another he seemed to own the world, at least, that's what it seemed like. But then, Loki wondered what others thought of him.
Loki sat to listen to Luc's story. Luc had listened to his, so he would have to listen to Luc's.
((what is your reaction at my signature? it made me laugh))

(Yeah, I pulled off the kid owning the world face. So I think I'm on the right track with him. I can't see your siggie. I'm on my iPhone.) Luc wasn't sure why the other cat was sitting there at first, but when he realized he probably wanted to hear his history, he shook his head. "You don't wanna hear about my past. Its all secret alien stuff." he gave a tight smile. "Its old news."

Loki shook his head, about to blurt 'what even?'
"Okay..." he gave the cat yet another weird look. He was starting to get those looks down. He stood up and shook a paw, riding his black pelt of a little dirt. "Would you like to go back to the tree?" he asked, before adding sarcasticly, "You can climb trees, right?" He smiled, showing no teeth.

Luc just shook his head at the look on Loki's face. He didn't mind recapping it, it was those he shared it with she worried for. "Yes, I can climb."

"Alright, then I'll race you." Loki instantly shot off at top speed toward the large tree not too far away. He ran smoothly, and quickly. He was like a dart on the grass.
As soon as he reached the tree, he barely slowed before he lanched himself up onto it, and scaled the trunk awkwardly, before finding a branch and sitting down.

Luc was used to climbing walls, and trees were no different. Including in the means of shortcuts. Rather than running to the bigger tree, he jumped into the closest one, slipping on the branches as she jumped from tree to tree and looking around to find Loki when he arrived, after catching his balance, of coarse.

i dont really live here
"You're as fast as me when I run and you climb," Loki told Luc once he spotted him amongst the branches. "One would say your from Treeclan and I'm from Fireclan." He laughed, but it faded quickly as he said Treeclan. He remembered a fire, but quickly shook his head.
Now was not the time to think of such things.

"You're from Treeclan then?" he asked before shaking his head. It was a stupid question to ask. He knew first hand why you tried to avoid bringing back pains of the past. "I climb so well because to live in the kittypet's land you must know how to scale walls."

Loki was okay with bringing up the past, just not much of it. "Yes, I was from Treeclan. Long ago, though, so it doesn't matter. That clan means nothing to me now." If he ever went back, he would feel so out of place, more than he would've ever felt before.
"That's interesting," he said at Luc's next comment. He guessed that scaling large walls would be an advantage, maybe when escaping from twolegs or dogs.

Luc shrugged. "In that world everything is fenced in. To get from place to place, one yard to another, you must jump."

Loki shuddered, there was nothing worse than being caged in. He looked out from his perch on the tree, as far as his eye could see, it was freedom. He could roam wherever he wanted. In and out of clan territories, too, but he might get some serious injuries if he tried. He smiled to himself.
"Who else lives there?" he asked.

"Kittypets, foxes, twolegs, and puppies. Dogs to, but mostly puppies," he tilted his head to the side. "Its pretty fun. The puppies are like little and very energetic kits and the kittypets never complain about anything real. And the foxes? Much easier to fight than in the wild."

Loki blinked slowly. No wonder all the kittypets had easy lives. Well, he quickly glanced at Luc. This kittypet wasn't fat. That was probably because he wasn't full kittypet. He didn't sound like he lived with twolegs, maybe around them, but not in their houses. He seemed like a rouge in the community.
"So, do you like it better there, or out here?" This was probably the ultimate question.

Luc shrugged, knowing it would probably get the other cat frustrated as he didn't acctually give the answer. "Depends on the day. Or how stupidly annoying other cats in one of the areas are being."

Loki nodded. Yep, he knew some stupidly annoying cats. He wanted to say his older brother, but his brother wasn't all that annoying. At least, he wasn't annoying all the time.
