kitekit smiled as he made his way into the nursery. he had been out in the camp exploring and trying to hunt down little bugs before deciding that it was about time to go back to his nest. he purred softly, stretching and laying down, snuggling up next to his littermate, pipitkit.
"hi," the tabby greeted the other, offering a warm smile.

Pipitkit sleepily blinked her yellow-amber eyes open, staring at her littermate, Kitekit. "Hello." She greeted, sitting up straight in her mother's nest. To be honest the young she-kit wanted to sleep some more. All she wanted to do was sleep but Pipitkit would be missing out in the fun things in life, like games. "Did mama send you to wake me up." Pipitkit opened her jaws to yawn before giving her ear a quick scratch.

kitekit's smile turned to a grin when pipitkit woke up and greeted him, not seeming too bothered that he had disturbed her sleep. "'morning," he laughed slightly due to the fact it wasn't morning at all.
"no," the tabby said, continuing, "she didn't... just i got bored and i can't find where anyone else is," he explained, trying not to come off as rude.

Pipitkit curled her tail around her paws neatly, still looking at her brother. A smile spread across her face. "I should have woken up earlier." She murmured. "Then I would have had more time to play." Pipitkit liked games but she wasn't always too excited about them. She wasn't very energetic. "Do you know where she is?" The tortoiseshell questioned. "Well if your bored, why don't we play a game? Perhaps warriors?"

kitekit shook his head, "nah, it's fine... sleeping's cool too," he reassured, booping pipitkit's tail with his pink nose. "nah, i've not seen her since i woke up this morning, she's probably just gone for a walk in the territory or something," the tabby guessed, shrugging nonchalantly.
"'kay, sounds great," he smiled, getting up again on slightly tired limbs.

Pipitkit sighed. "At least there's time to play before mama makes us go take a nap again. Hopefully it won't be soon, I'm wide awake!" She meowed, licking a paw and drewing it between her ears. When her brother spoke again, Pipitkit began to worry. What if fox got her or worse, a badger. She shivered at the thought of the horrible creatures clamping their jaws onto her mother's neck. Pipitkit pushed the thought away. "I can be leader and you can be my deputy."

kitekit nodded, grinning enthusiastically, "yeah, i don't like sleeping much... there's like nothing to do, you can't play or anything," he said, pretty much contradicting his previous statement before speaking again, "don't worry, though, she'll be fine," he said, noticing the worry that pipitkit felt.
"sounds great," he smiled, "what are we doing first, pipitstar?" he asked, trying to make his voice sound a little deeper like a warrior's.

Pipitkit blinked. How could anyone not like sleeping? The she-kit loved dreaming happy dreams, only once or twice she had experienced a nightmare but it wasn't that bad. "Sleeping is important though." Pipitkit insisted, flicking her ears with her tail. "I hope so." She murmured. The kitten was still worried. She wouldn't stop until she saw her mother with her own eyes, safe and sound. "First of all you need a warrior name." Pipitkit spoke, trying to sound as calm as a leader.

kitekit nodded, "i know it is," he said, "s'just kinda boring," he said, shrugging again before nudging her with his head at her still apparent worry, "just trust me, she'll be okay," he repeated.
"i wanna be called... kitetuft," he suggested, smirking slightly at pipitkit's calm tone.

Pipitkit nodded. "It's only boring when you just cannot sleep but when I'm really tired I feel like I could sleep for days." She admitted. Pipitkit was still worried about her mother but she managed to push the thoughts about Fawnskip away. Her mother could defend herself is trouble came her way. "Kitetuft, I like it." Pipitkit purred, a smile on her face. "TreeClan is attacking our camp! Guard the camp!" She exclaimed, pretending to leap into battle as if she was fully trained. "We must win!"

'kitetuft' purred loudly when 'pipitstar' said she liked his name, bouncing on his large-ish paws slightly as he looked towards where pipitkit had pounced as if she was a fully trained warrior. apparently treeclan was attacking. he copied her, crouching down further and stalking forwards towards a 'treeclan warrior', which actually happened to be a piece of moss, and getting ready to pounce on it as if it were an enemy.

Pipitkit was pretending to slash at an enemy warrior which was just a random mossball that happened to be in the nursery. She grabbed the mossball between her teeth and tossed it at the wall. Pipitkit watched it bounce off and land softly on the ground. "One down, more to go." There was another mossball she herself had made beside the nest. Pipitkit didn't feel like wrecking her creature so she leapt at another piece of moss that lay on the nursery floor.

kitekit grinned as he finally pounced on the piece of moss and began tearing it up with his claws and teeth, pieces getting stuck in his long, scruffy fur that he had been struggling to keep tidy. he picked up a final piece of it and shook it around in his jaws, letting out squeaky 'grr' noises as he did so.
he then turned his olive green eyes to look at pipitkit when she spoke, simply watching as she leaped at the final piece.

Pipitkit began to tear the piece of moss about with thorn sharp kitten claws, leaving bits of it everywhere. In the end there was a big mess where the mossball piece had lay. "We won!" She exclaimed happily. "FireClan is victorious once again! No clan is stronger!" Pipitkit squeaked. "What do you want to play now?"

kitekit smirked when pipitkit announced that they had one against treeclan and that fireclan were the strongest. it was true, fireclan was the best clan and no-one could tell him otherwise. "we could play..." he began to think, "hide and seek?" he suggested, just saying the first game that came to mind.
