kitekit smiled as he rolled around on the slightly dusty floor, a mossball in his paws and tangled in his long-ish fur. he let out tiny growls as he clawed at the piece of moss, pretending he was in battle. it was pretty fun actually, but it would have been more fun had he had not been alone.
rolling onto his stomach and looking around at his surroundings for any other cat- eventually, he spotted his brother, swftkit. "hellooo!" he called over to him, "get your furry butt over here!"

Swiftkit had been spinning in place, trying not to get caught off guard by Plumkit as Pipitkit had warned, when he tripped at his attention being taken by something else. "Oof!" He grunted as he fell on the ground. "What? Okay!" He called back.
He quickly got back onto his paws and scurried over to his brother, where he bounced in place. He'd tried to practice staying still but... It wasn't working out too well. He still had too much energy for his own good.

kitekit let out a loud laugh when swiftkit tripped, "don't trip, it gets you down!" he teased, smirking at the patched feline. "aaanyway... wanna go out and do something?" he asked, beginning to roll around again.

Swiftkit huffed, seemingly offended. "That pun is stinky!" He complained. He pouted as Kitekit smirked at him. Then he instantly perked up again. "Okay! We should go run around camp!" He said, his bouncing in place seeming to turn into vibrating at his excitement.

kitekit snorted again, "you're stinky," he stuck his tongue out, leaning towards swiftkit and giving him a quick nuzzle when he pouted.
the tabby smiled at the idea and looked outside of the nursery, shuffling his paws before grinning wide, "race you there?" he asked, using his forepaw to point towards a den he didn't know the name of.

Swiftkit puffed out his cheeks. "Am not!" He retorted hotly. He ducked away from the nuzzle, still feeling a bit grumpy about being called stinky.
Then he instantly perked up again. For the third time. "Okay!" He squealed, before shooting off like a rocket, though going a little too far and tripping headfirst into the den that Kitekit had been pointing to.

kitekit flicked and ear and dropped the subject, turning away to look around again.
he purred loudly when swiftkit began running off, laughing as he chased after him, although halting suddenly when the other kit tripped. he flattened his ears momentarily before going over to the ginger and white cat, giving them a quick sniff, "you okay?" he asked, now quiet voice laced with concern.

Swiftkit's crash landing had stopped his motion for a moment. However, he quickly recovered, picking himself up and shaking himself out. As his tail swished behind him, and he rubbed his head, he looked over his shoulder. "I'm fine! It's okay!" He called out, before bouncing out of the den he'd tumbled into.
He grinned at Kitekit. "I won the race!"

kitekit nodded, backing up a few steps before shuffling his paws, "okay... if you say so," he said, flicking an ear and looking into the den.
he grinned back at swiftkit when he emerged from the den and spoke, "fine, fine, you win," he said, trying to make his voice sound annoyed, although faint laughter could be heard. "what was in there anyway?" kitekit asked, sticking his nose back into the den.

Swiftkit was bouncing in place, even dancing a little bit. "Yeah, yeah!" He squeaked happily. He thought that had been super fun! Even if he tumbled a bit. He liked getting dirty anyways, he didn't mind taking a tumble. He tended to do that quite a bit, anyways.
Then he blinked. "Uhh..." His dancing had ceased at this point. "I didn't really stick around to check."

kitepaw nodded, poking his head in further to see some more, "oh, okay... i think it's just some dens anyway, nothing interesting," he concluded, moving his head away from the den and looking around the camp some more. there was still so much they hadn't seen yet, "what'cha wanna check out next?"

Swiftkit poked his head in besides Kitekit, since he hadn't gotten a good look before. "But whose dens? That's interesting! You think these are warrior dens or apprentice dens?" He rambled. He blinked. "I dunno."

kitekit tilted his head in thought, looking at the dens, "apprentices probably... the nests loo too small for warriors," he answered, tempted to go in and look at them closer, afterall, there were no cats in there to tell them off.
the tabby kitten tilted his head again and looked around at the camp, olive green eyes settling on something nearby... it was like a massive entrance or something and there was lots of empty space on the other side, "what's that?"

Swiftkit's eyes shimmered at Kitekit mentioning the probability of them being the apprentice nests. "Oh! We'll be sleeping there soon, when we're apprentices!" He squeaked, beginning to bounce up and down.
Then he noticed Kitekit was looking away. "Uh, what's what?" He asked, tilting his head, not quite seeing what was being pointed out.

kitekit grinned, eyes sparkling a little when swiftkit pointed out that they would soon be sleeping in the den that they were near- he had forgotten about that, or at least he hadn't thought about it. it felt like they should still be kits for longer, time went so fast.
the fluffy tabby flicked an ear and leaned forwards towards the new thing he was looking at, "that!" he said, using his grey tufted paw to point at it more. it was like an exit or something that led somewhere else- he wasn't quite sure where. "there's like... stuff out there... or nothing? i don't know," he said, tilting his head.
