Swanfrost hadn't expected to have to mentor an apprentice so soon. And without a proper ceremony no less. She supposed it happened fairly often, since cats tended to just up and go missing every once and awhile. It was extremely early in the morning, the sky a colourful pink as the sun began to rise. She had already eaten, and made her way towards the apprentice den, hyping herself up before peaking her head in. " Olivepaw, wake up!" She hissed sharply, keeping her voice down for the other sleeping apprentices. "It's time for the territory tour." She backed out of the den, sitting off to the side and waiting impatiently for her new apprentice to come out. She planned to take this seriously.

Olivepaw's head shot up immediately at her mentor's call. She had been up all night, eager for her first day of training. She knew to keep quiet, she did not want to wake any of the others at this time in the morning. She slipped out of the den, bounding towards Swanfrost excitedly, her paws itching to explore " This is going to be so Paw-some!" She said quietly, her eyes shining with excitement as she struggled to keep her voice down.

Swanfrost blinked as Olivepaw came out, her eyes narrowing slightly in confusion. "Did you just-" She cleared her throat. "Never mind. Grab something to eat, there's a lot of ground to cover." She gestured towards the prey pile. If her apprentice wasn't too tired after the tour she might show her a few hunting teqniques. Although for now she would just focus on taking her through the entire territory. She would have to get used to the excersize anyways.

~That is 100% the best reaction to Olives puns i've seen yet.~
Olivepaw grinned and nodded to Swanfrost before picking a mouse from the fresh-kill pile and eating it quickly. She walked back, wishing she'd relished the taste of her breakfast a little bit more. Olivepaw was trying not to vibrate from sheer excitement "Can we head out mew?" she asked, winking at her mentor playfully, trying to contain her energy.

Swanfrost waited impatiently for her to finish eating. She looked startled at yet another pun. Had she been hearing her right. She flicked her ears uncomfortably. "Uhh, yeah." She stated before leading her out of camp, slinking through the exit. She kept her pace brisk, just to see how much Olivepaw could handle. She reminded herself not to tire her out too much though.

Olivepaw frowned a bit, her mentor wasn't laughing at her amazing jokes. The whole thought was quickly tossed aside as Swanfrost started leaving camp. Olivepaw followed, trotting excitedly. As Swanfrost sped up, Olivepaw did too, not wanting to fall behind. She stepped out into the territory, her green eyes wide "You've got to be kitten me, the territory is huge!" Olivepaw meowed, managing to remain only a few paw steps behind her mentor.

Swanfrost showed her annoyance at yet another pun, hoping Olivepaw would take it as her cue to stop. It was obnoxious. "Alright, so we're almost at the first border." Swanfrost scented the air to reinforce her statement, nodding her head slightly. If Olivepaw could keep this pace the whole time, they would get there quickly. "Once we get there, I want you to tell me which clan it is." She expected Olivepaw to have a basic knowledge of the other clans, and it wouldn't be too hard to guess. Once they arrived at the sun stone Swanfrost paused near the border, blocking her apprentices path encase she didn't notice. "Alright, so, which clan is that." She nodded her head towards the thin amount of trees, which grew thicker the further into Treeclan you went. She stayed away from the large rocks, knowing that since it was warmer there was a good chance snakes were out.

Olivepaw bounded happily along, until swanfrost blocked her off. Sniffing about, olivepaw peered into the forest, the musty smell of leaves and mud reaching her muzzle " I think it's purrobably Treeclan" she meowed hopefully. Olivepaw didnt much like the musty scent of the forest.

"Right." She stated, no hint of praise in her voice. It was an easy guess. "Try and remember their scent, it'll be important to know if you ever decide to go into the territory alone." She paused, looking towards Olivepaw. "Which I don't suggest doing." Swanfrost moved on, the sight of twelve headstones making their way into her sight. "This is the graveyard. It's not bad for hunting, considering not a lot of cats go here... but there's not a lot of big prey either."
