Rosetail was out hunting when she remembered she had to be back at camp by sunhigh to train Kitepaw. It was still a short while off, but she made her way back to camp anyway, dropping off the prey that she had caught before moving to the camp entrance where she said she'd wait.

kitepaw yawned as he opened his olive green eyes, looking around at his surroundings. he was in the apprentices' den, something he still had to get used to.

remembering that today ould be his first day of training, the tabby rolled over and lifted himself to his paws, making his way over to the camp entrance, where rosetail had planned to meet him. he just hoped he wasn't late. "good morning," kitepaw said as he made his way towards the spotted warrior, purring.

"Good morning," Rosetail greeted with a small smile. "Did you eat already? If not go ahead and grab something now." she added, going over her plans in her head. She would, as her own mentor had, lay down her rules and then they would go out for a tour of the territory, maybe hunting or fighting a little after that.

kitepaw smiled and shook his head, "nope... ill go get something now," he said cheerily, making his way over to the fresh kill pile and quickly grabbing a vile. he munched on it as he made his way back to rosetail, waiting for her to inform him of their plans.

Rosetail explained what was going through her head as Kitepaw approached. "First I have some rules to set, then we can go out into the territory," she said, pausing for a moment before going right into the rules, hoping Kitepaw wasn't going to be one to complain. "You will be responsible for cleaning out your own nest and keeping it neat. You will also have to clean out other dens. For this I suggest the Elder's den or the Warrior's den as these two are smaller, though most others jump on the chance to clean the leader's den or the nursery. Training will start at sunhigh each day and I will meet you here. Please try to eat before then. That should be it for now," she said, a stern note in her voice that faded into a smile as she continued, "If you listen to all of those I think this should be a lot of fun. If you don't have any questions, I am sure you want to see what lies out there," she flicked her tail towards the territory, "So we can get started as soon as you're ready."

kitepaw nodded as he listened... being an apprentice already seemed like me responsibility than he first thought- he had to clean his nest and dens and follow rules and everything. he thought there would be no rules as he wasn't a kit anymore, which disappointed the young cat quite a bit.

"okay... sounds like a lot of work," he mused, "can we go out yet?" he asked Curiously, looking out at the territory.

Rosetail nodded. "If you're ready then let's go," she flicked her tail and turned to walk, making her way to the Treeclan border. "What do you know about Treeclan?" she asked as she walked.

kitepaw grinned and followed rosetail's out into the territory and towards a border. it was pretty strange there- everything was covered in these really large brown and green things... trees. "not much... they probably have to climb a lot though, right?"

Rosetail nodded. "Their leader is Arrowstar and they are good at climbing trees. This gives them an advantage as they can sneak up from above us, so don't forget to be careful around the border." she said and started towards the Rockclan border. "Rockclan recently moved, but let's still go there's just in case. We are moving into their territory as well as ours, so it would do you good to get to know the territory once we secure it, but be careful until then. There is also most danger from borders when something is going on in that clan."

kitepaw nodded, he'd watch out next time he went near he border to make sure nobody would pounce on him, although chances are he would rarely out here alone anyway.

the young tom purred as they made there way towards the next border... This clan was called rockclan and apparently they were taking over some territory. he smiled, "okay... is there rogues around here and stuff?" he asked, peering around at all the rocks.

Rosetail nodded. "We won't go out there for now though. And please try not to go there on your own." she said, turning from the border and making her way to the Blossom Pond."This is the Blossom Pond," she introduced briefly. "Did you ever play warriors as a kit?"

kitepaw twitched his whiskers, "alright, i won't... can i go out with someone else though, it seems like a pretty cool place to go look at," he said, looking back at the rocks as they began walking again. it was just so different from everything g the clan currently owned.

the young apprentice then nodded again, "yeah i did with my sister, pipitpaw... why?"

Rosetail nodded. "You can go with someone else, but not just another apprentice. Try to go with a warrior." she responded cautiously.
"Well show me what you know from then, and we'll elaborate on that."

[Kitepaw]

kitepaw nodded, obediently.

he crouched down at rosetail's next request and wriggled his hind as he got ready to show her what he knew, "okay, but i've only ever tried it on moss, not another cat," he said before pouncing forwards.

Rosetail nodded, carefully watching her apprentices moved. They were all pretty much good, so she nodded. "Those are good. Next we will work on crouches. This is an offensive stance." she flicked her tail and crouched down.
