kitepaw purred, smiling when rosetail said that his moves were good- so he was doing it right. that was nice to know. the young cat nodded quickly, looking at his mentor as she moved into a crouching position... he copied her the best he could.

Rosetail nodded once again. "That is the in you mind, this is the use when you are attacking. The defensive crouch is like this," she changed her crouch to a defensive one.

kitepaw nodded again, "okay," he said simply, looking at rosetail as she moved slightly, into a different position. he copied her, trying to get it as good as possible before beginning to alternate between the two crouches to make sure he got them both correct. "these good?"

Rosetail nodded, inspecting each pose carefully "Just make sure that in the defensive stance you are light on your feet. Now show me a front strike and a pounce," she said, "Then we'll be done for the day."

kitepaw nodded and crouched down slightly, shuffling his paws softly on the ground before pouncing towards rosetail, letting out a small 'gnah' noise as he did so.
"was that good?" the young tom asked after he had finished.

kitepaw grinned widely at rosetail's words, wriggling his hind, he couldn't believe he had done well on his very first training session! "thanks!"
-so this post was extremely late and awkward and short and imsosorry... i'm guessing this is pretty much the end of thread though? i've honestly had no muse for kite in ages.-
