Redfoot had woke early this morning, eating a small breakfast, and grooming her black pelt. She couldn't help but think of her encounter with Stormfrost, the senior warrior with many kits and seemingly many secrets. She had enjoyed talking with him, and at the end of their talk, they had sort of arranged an informal hunt. She didn't know if he'd show, since there had been no real plans in place, but she hoped he would.
She waited on the edge of camp, looking for her new friend. He intrigued her, and she genuinely wanted to get to know him better. Redfoot hoped that this would be her chance. |

Stormfrost felt warmth reach his pelt inside the den and he woke up, trying to get up. Once he managed to get to his paws he yawned widely and stretched. It was warm enough for him to get a move on so his old bones wouldn't freeze. He wasn't too old but he had great grandchildren. It was a weird thought to him. He kinda couldn't believe it.
The tom padded outside of the warriors den and got himself something to eat before scenting a familiar smell. Redfoot? He looked up and saw a familiar pelt on the side of camp. Stormfrost put a smile on his face as he wandered her way to greet her. "Good morning, Redfoot. How's it going?"

"Stormfrost!" she mewed, pleased. "Good! How are you?"
Redfoot greeted the tom with a friendly smile. Today, she was in a very good mood. The sun was shining, the prey was coming out into the open, and she had time to spend with a new friend. It was rare for Redfoot to actually enjoy company, she generally found other cats to be boring. Stormfrost's somewhat untraditional, but kind nature was refreshing to the senior warrior. |

Stormfrost gave somewhat of a grin. "I believe in doing all right. It's good to get to see you again." He a sister happy she seemed excited to see him, it gave him a boost of confidence, but over his many moons he knew that he didn't needn't to let that go to his head.

"It's good to see you too," Redfoot mewed, tilting her head to look at Stormfrost. She really was happy to see him. Then, she remembered what she had originally wanted to do today. She stood up, and flicked her tail in a 'let's go' fashion.
"So.. How about that hunt we talked about?" the senior asked, hoping he didn't have any plans for the day. |

Stormfrost was happy to see she seemed ready to go hunting, he hadn't been out much into the territory himself for the past few days. "I'm up for it if you are. Wherever you want to hunt I'm good." He flicked his ears forward, awaiting her response. I wonder what prey will be out today?

"Good!" she mewed, glad he was ready to go. She paused for a moment in thought, thinking about where to go. She was excited to go on a real hunt, and not have to train any apprentices. Redfoot was also excited to catch more prey, since new-leaf was finally here.
"We could go by the TreeClan border?" the senior suggested. There were always mice and rabbits hiding in the shadows and brush near TreeClan. |
