Calista shook her head, pinching her eyes shut. She had thought her whole family was dead, but most of all Greyfang. When she had received the warning that he had changed.... well, truth be told she didn't fully believe it. That's why she tested him. And he had not only failed, but take it to the point where unless he was emotionless, it had been taken past the point where it hurt him to. He had been looking for a reaction. And that was something she hadn't wanted to give him before she tested what he was like before. Much less now. And then, when she had left and he had left, Loki had chosen to follow him. Sure, he had his reasons, and she didn't want to know. She had followed Greyfang all the next day, from the moment she knew it was safe to track him. From the moment she knew he wouldn't still expect it. And a day after, there she was. She pulled her gaze up with an all to sweet smile on her face and dropped the tune she had been singing as she traced down Loki.

L oki, after trying to reason with his brother, felt bad. He had been going in circles, wondering what to do, and where to go. He didn't want to go back to Grayfang, and he was worried about Calista. For two days, he went in circles, over and over the same environment, treading the same path, thinking. After a while, he started to have a strange feeling, as if he was being followed. After about half a day, he knew he was being followed. He had a sense of someone watching him when he was pacing. He acted as if he didn't know, however, to catch the suspect. It was strange how he had a sense of something such as that, but from many days of pranks and tracings, he knew how to track someone, and what it felt like to be tracked. The forest was always quieter than he pleased, and he had a sense of someone's eyes on his every move. As he padded on in a straight line, he flicked his ears behind him and lifted his lips as if in a snarl, but no noise escaped his throat. He turned a sharp corner and sped up, but not much. Then he took three more corners and came around to the back of a cat, and one he knew. He was extremely surprised. "Cali, what are you doing?" he asked, amazement pierced through his sentence.

Cali shrugged. "I wanted to see if I could catch you before i headed out. I'm taking a trip for a while. Well, maybe. It depends on what Greyfang days when i talk to him next." her face hardened. "He has changed. When I get back, I'll have given him space, but there is still a chance for a war between to two of us. And if there is, I want you to pick his side. He needs someone else to support him if he's planning to use the mental strength I know he isn't going to use. And it will break him or force him to shrug out the world." her face softened.
"So what have you been up to?" she asked with a smile.

L oki took a slight step back from her and stood up straighter as she explained. Where was she going? He didn't think he would be able to do much without her. She had kept him alive for now. If she wasn't there, he would've probably gone back to Asgard and died. No doubt the cats living there would kill him if he suddenly showed up. It was a bigger surprise when she talked about a war, and Loki choosing his brother's side and not her's. "You know I couldn't choose a side..." he started. Then she changed the subject, and he stopped talking, listening to her question. He took back his step, getting a little closer to her again. His gaze fell to a leaf near her shoulder, and he sighed. "Not much, just trying to figure things out."

Calista nodded and gave a small smile. "It's a lot to take, I know. I also know you and Grey don't get along. But you need to. He needs you to. I don't need you. For now I have it under control. Life is a game, and he will need help navigating the next level. I can help you if you want but... he'll need you to help him." she gave a smaller smile. "But I ment before we saw Grey"

L oki gave another short sigh. He suddenly looked up at Cali with a fierce look in his eyes, thinking about all the things Gray had done to him, but the expression quickly faded away. "Life is always a game, its a matter of how you place your pawns how far you'll get," he answered. "I don't think your brother understands that." He felt a little rude, but he could hold a grudge. It wasn't good for his health, really. His brother needed him, and wanted him back dearly, and Loki simply wanted to push him away. His face suddenly turned into a snarl, but he was looking away from Cali. He shook his head to clear it, then stood up straight again and looked into her eyes. "Where are you going to go?"

Calista blinked, forcing herself not to wince at the use of the word your. "He is more your brother than you know. And he is very scarcely my brother save for in blood itself. " she responded coolly. "I have some friends to the East, a bit further than past the clans. I'm gonna visit them for a few days where I'll meet Minnie and then come back. It will only be a couple of weeks, maybe a moon, but it will give Greyfang a chance to cool down."

L oki sighed. If she felt she had to go, then she would go. Besides, she said she would return, so as long as she didn't die, he was okay with her going. Besides, they weren't kits anymore, and Cali could take care of herself. "Maybe thats a good idea," he said. Grayfang was severely upset with her for being alive, and Loki couldn't make him see that he should be happy that Cali was alive, not mad at her. ((MINNIE!!!!))

Calista tilted her head. "Thanks for understanding." she muttered. (So short.

L oki nodded. "So when are you planning on leaving?" he asked, curious. He wondered why he had never thought of her meeting other cats than the cats that live around here. He had, and so why wouldn't she? Grayfang probably had, as well, but now wasn't the time to bring up his name. Both of them were mad at him. At least, Cali was trying to give him space, and Loki had an ongoing grudge that was set aside whenever he saw his brother. It was weird, their relationship. He was angry at him, but happy he was back. Or at least, that he was found. He wasn't back from anywhere, because this wasn't their home. Loki wished they were home, in Asgard, where he would actually gave a den, and maybe a peaceful night of sleep.

Calista shrugged. "A couple of days. I have to finish off the food in my den so it doesn't rot, Then I'm going to talk to Greyfang. If he's still so stubborn when I act nicer, then I've gotta give him the time. Plus, I haven't seen these friends in a while."

L oki nodded, knowing all the well how Grayfang should react, but not how he will react. "Fair enough," he answered, not really knowing what else to say to his sister.

"We never finished the hunt we were on. We were gonna try to catch a rabbit after we ate, right?"

L oki nodded. "Well, I suppose," he answered with a smile. He wasn't sure why they were going to catch extra prey that they didn't need, but Cali always had a stash that stayed fresh for a while. That was different about the two, Loki always had to go out hunting when he was hungry, and Cali was always prepared. He noticed if all the prey suddenly disappeared, he would starve. That was an unsettling thought.

Calista narrowed her eyes slightly as she sniffed the air, picking up the faint scent of rabbit even though it was downwind. She carefully made her way closer as she only had a general direction and nothing else to go on to find the rabbit. Upon locating it, she circled around, preparing by to scare it into Loki's direction once he was ready.
