I t was a surprise to Loki that this cat enjoyed pranking, he just didn't seem to be the right character, for some reason. He was quite different from Loki himself. Loki really didn't know how to react at the fact that they shared something in common. But maybe Jordan's idea of pranking was much different from Loki's idea of pranking. "What kinds of pranks do you usually pull?" he asked. He would possibly explain one of this bests to this cat.

((Kittypets with great dedication can manage to transport maple syrup. Also a lot of practice and messes and trial and error.))
Jordan began lightly chuckling to himself. "Oh, I've pulled a great many pranks. I covered my friend Ian's bed with maple syrup once! His bed was sticky and gross, until his housefolk gave up on cleaning it and just up and bought him a new one." He flattened his ears. "Er... Unfortunately I found myself on the receiving end of revenge. He hid my food bowl a week later. He dropped it in this really smelly place in the Park. Eugh, it was the worst. I think it's where humans go to make dirt." He wrinkled up his nose. "He even dropped it in the container that humans make dirt in." He paused. "Ian's really got this weird obsession with the most revolting things. Grosser the better, I guess?"

L oki slowly nodded. Well, apparently that's what kittypets thought a good prank was. Wild cats were different, or at least, Loki was definitely different. "That's..." he started, looking for a good word that would describe those pranks. "Creative." Then, he went on to explain his best prank against his brother. "My best prank was for my brother. He was about to become leader of our clan, and I wanted to ruin his huge day, so I let in a small patrol of three warrior into our grounds. They were our sworn enemies, and they did wonderfully. It ruined his perfect day, and gave me a great laugh, but they stupidly sent their leader as one of the three warriors, and I had to kill him." He shrugged, as if it didn't matter much. "All three of them died." At least his brother's day was ruined, and he got to cut off the head of their clan's sworn enemies... so it was a double win for him.

Jordan was a tiny bit... Shocked. He hesitated a bit before responding. He didn't want to offend Loki, but this wasn't doing much for the numerous rumors of wild cats he never quite believed.
"Uhhhh... That sounds... Interesting?" He tried awkwardly. "Just sounds like there was a bit... Unnecessary death. I like my pranks blood free." He coughed. "I mean... It's all in good fun, right? No one's really hurt, even after all the huffing and puffing of frustration." He coughed again. "Not exactly... Helping the rumors. Y'know what a lot of kittypets say about wild cats, dontcha?"

L oki actually did roll his eyes this time. Of course this cat wouldn't understand, no one did. And the death was necessary, if this cat had ever met the cat Loki killed, he would know. "Most those rumors are false and stupid," he spat. "The cats here are soft and love their precious lives, the wouldn't harm a fly buzzing in front of their faces." Loki wasn't sure where the sudden anger came from, maybe he was just in a bad mood that day, but he was certainly tired of all the idiot cats who surrounded him. He certainly wasn't calling Jordan one of those, but others he couldn't stand. Loki took a breath, trying to calm down. He gave the ground a fierce look. "If you met the cat, you would know why I did it. He was going to kill one of my clanmates."

((oml I think Loki has forgotten the crucial part of: KITTYPET
Jordan got the feeling that Loki was more than a little bit self-righteous about that whole situation. Honestly, there were some hard, cold facts about it that he'd been given that couldn't be disputed: Cats died. That raised a huge red flag in Jordan's book. A great prank to him meant no one's really hurt in the long run. Frustrated and inconvenienced was honestly the goal.
"Is that so bad?" He asked Loki. It didn't sound so bad to Jordan. Plus, it showed many housecats were wrong about the wild cats.
Then Loki seemed to try and calm himself down, with a breathing exercise. He didn't seem to want to meet Jordan's eyes either. The kittypet took note of that. "Er, the leader?" He asked, trying to get the story straight here.

L oki sat down and flicked his tail, sitting up straight. He brought his head up in an elegant kind of arch, and rested his eyes calmly on the kittypet. He wasn't one to express anger, and always knew how to control it. Lately, he hadn't been showing that he could do that, but now he remembered how he always did. He gave a smile without teeth, but his eyes didn't look like they were smiling. His brow was in a slight furrow. "Yes," he answered simply. However, he didn't care to add that the leader was also his father, though he hadn't known at the time. He did not regret killing the beast, though, since Loki no longer belonged to him. He had been adandoned as a kit, and his adoptive father had taken him in as one of his own.

Jordan felt a tiny bit intimidated by the almost regal display from Loki. He felt almost like an insignificant dot under scrutinization, like a broke peasant before a rich, judgemental king. He wasn't sure where the analogy came from, but he felt it was pretty darn accurate. He wasn't sure how he felt about that.
"... Well, I guess we'll never know. Him being dead and all..." He trailed off, not quite sure what else to say. He shifted his paws uncomfortably. He couldn't really condone murder, but he didn't want to antagonize this cat who made him feel a bit... On edge, honestly. He'd never really faced down a threat like this, aside from the threat of the dogs in twolegplace. They were dangerous, sure, but not like this.

L oki noticed how fidgety the younger cat became, and he went on, explaining who the leader was. "It was not murder. I did not kill him in cold blood. But when I did kill him, I had only known him as the leader of our enemies. Later, I was told that he had been my biological father..." Loki noticed that this cat really didn't need to know this, so he silently closed his mouth. He didn't want the cat to go screaming away. "I don't feel any regret, though." Somehow, those words still managed to slip from his mouth. Loki let out an internal moan, waiting to see how Jordan would react.

Jordan felt a nagging urge to point out that killing another cat constituted as murder, but he wisely held his tongue. Fortunately, unlike some of his friends, he frequently had bouts of thinking before he acted. His friend Adam was certainly someone who'd blurt out and offend Loki. The patricide mention had a flash of fear cross Jordan's face. He was a kittypet who hadn't been exposed to much in the way of violence, so the revelation had been more than a tiny bit over the edge.
"I-I maybe should go..." He almost stammered as he was already backing away.

L oki nodded. "Maybe you should, since you don't understand my meaning. No one does." Loki stood up himself, in a graceful move, and flicked his long tail. He had told the kittypet much, but that was mostly because he didn't think Jordan could do anything to him. "It was nice to meet you, Jordan," he said with an elegant turn and another flick of his tail. He began to walk away. (( loki isn't very fond of kittypets D: ))

Jordan wasn't sure what to say, so with a pained look on his face, he turned tail and ran. Barely hearing that last, polite remark Loki gave to him. It was hard to believe that such a polite cat could be capable of such cruelty without remorse.
He just hoped to avoid the awkwardness of Loki hanging around Jerry's Tree when he came back...
