hollypaw nodded, lowering himself to lie down again, "i've never really spoken to sorrelpatch either. but, i guess i understand, they do have a lot of kits to care for."

May nodded. "At least the whole loner fight thing is over now. It takes a little off their plates."

hollypaw yawned again, "yeah," he smiled, closing his eyes for a while, "yeah," he agreed, "it's nice to see everyone more... relaxed, i guess is the right word."

May nodded. "It allows cats to be themselves which allows them to make new friends and not fight with their old ones. When everyone starts getting on the edge it only leads to bickering ."

hollypaw also nodded, letting out a soft hum of agreement, "yeah, it's nice that cats are finally being civil. especially considering the younger ones in the clan, we don't want them growing up around all of that and thinking it's normal," he said.

May shuddered slightly as she nodded. "Its not a good youth either. Younglings are hurt more by fighting than those who the words and actions are aimed at."

holly's tired eyes opened a little wider, "really?" he asked rhetorically. he had never really been very sociable outside of his family as a kit, having only met one other youngster back then who wasn't a relative, "it's pretty disappointing that they're being violent at a young age then, but at least it'll help them if battle is required in the future." hollypaw hoped there would never be any problems for the clan's future, but secretly, he was kind of excited by the thought of getting to fight another clan and help his own. it was the least he could do for all they had done for him.
