Rot, I am so sorry this is so late and short.) Bell walked through the fields, not really caring where she was headed. Her aim was eventually towards the forest, but she wasn't focused on the task enough to care as she came across another's cat and stopped. "Hello," she said with a grin, quickly inspecting the other cat.

(Don't worry about it)
Rot was simply just grooming himself in a patch of sunlight. It always felt odd grooming his patchy pelt and Rot always hated it. Rot was usually in a sour mood, but he was sometimes able to control his anger.
Right in the middle of his grooming, Rot heard another cat speak from behind him. Whipping his head around, Rot coldly gazed at the new cat. Gazing at the new she-cat, Rot visited decided to be nicer than he would be usually be. "What do you want?" He snapped.

Bell acted surprised by the other cat's tone, though, really, it was expected with other loners. "Nothing. I'm just bored and have nothing to do. You wanna talk?" she asked, though the look in her eye said that it really wasn't a choice. And with her it wasn't. It was fun being the most stubborn cat in exsistance.

Rot was about to say 'no' when he was surprised to see the look in the she-cat's eye. Stubbornness? Rot had to try a little to not slightly smile. Trying to make sure that the she-cat didn't know that she got to him, he answered sourly, "There's nothing else to do, I guess."

"You're very cheerful today," she commented, not the least bit of sarcasm in her voice. "What puts you in such a mood?"

"This is how I always am!" Snapped Rot, lashing his tail. It wasn't his fault that he was this way. His mother did this to him. Not thinking about what he was about to say, Rot hissed, "Don't you anyone else to bother?"

Bell shrugged. "Nope." she said, a playful glint in her eyes. "I'm Arabella, by the way. Most cats call me Bell.

A little glint of shock appeared in Rot's eyes. This she-cat just told him 'no'. That was something that interested Rot.
"Arabella, hmm?" The name sounded quite nice to Rot. "I'm probably going to stick with Arabella. Not Bell." Rot had to try to not smile slightly at Arabella, there was something about this cat. "Rot." He greeted, stiffly dipping his head.

Bell shrugged. "Call me what you wish," she said. She never called cats by their acctual names anyway, rather picking a name based on her first impression. For Rot the name would probably be Stinger, because he was sharp at first encounter, and she had a feeling he would be far gentler if one got to know him, just as a bee would be if you took out the part that it tried to sting you to death.

Rot didn't like the quiet silence, but somehow that flared up his defense side. "Don't judge my name!" Rot hissed, lashing his tail. "My mother.... Don't judge my name..." When he was about to talk about his mother. He couldn't.

Bell tilted her head. "I'm not." she said, unfazed by the outburst. "I never judge names. I also never use real ones for others. For exsample, I'm gonna call you Stinger. Have you met a cat named Loki? I'm calling him Fox. Another cat named Thor I'm very simply calling g Kitten." she said with a shrug. "Do cats... often judge your name? Because if they do then that's just plain out rude."

Stinger? After he thought about it, Rot realized that he sort of earned that name. Rot was relieved the Arabella had not judged his name, but instead given him a new one! "Kitten?" Mused Rot, his whiskers twitching. "What has he done to earn that name?" "Some cats." He hissed quietly, thinking about his mother, the one who gave him the name in the first place. He had met others, but when they asked his name they seemed odd after they got their answer.

Bell shrugged. "I came up with it before acctually talking to him, but I was right. He ran into a bunch of sheep and started a stampede that knocked him unconscious. Seriously. Only a Kitten could be that stupid," she said.

Glancing warmly at Arabella, Rot mewed, "When you said that, I thought you were going to say 'because he was covered in sheep fluff.' Now that I know the right answer, I'm thinking how wrong my guess was!"
(This is literally what I thought! P.S. I think that Rot and Arabella are really cute together!)

Bell shrugged. "I think if that were the case, I'd already have five cats in line for the name," she said, giggling.
