"If I were going to say no, you would have known it right off the back," she responded, then her eyes widened as he continued, "You think he chose me? He was an arrogant jerk, he claimed to like every girl in the forest. Every pretty one at least." she frowned for a moment then shook her head.

"When cats do say that, they are pretty likely to find one who doesn't like them." Rot commented, nodding slightly. Them he decided to make a little joke, "I bet all of the she-cat don't even know who he is, anymore! They might all be asking where he is, while the cat is standing right beside them!"

Arabella nodded. "I think of it every now and again. I think they'll still recognize them, but I think they'll all see him for who he is and cast him away."

Rot's whisker twitched, "Serves him right." Looking straight at Arabella, Rot enjoyed the time that he was spending with her. Even though she was gone for a few days, it felt like she was gone for an eternity. "I enjoy having this time with you." He purred, smiling slightly.

Arabella nodded tentatively. "I suppose I do to."

Rot flicked his tail so it landed on Arabella's shoulder. "I want you to know that..." Rot trailed off. He loved Arabella, but was this the right time? She said that she liked him, but she didn't say that she loved him.

Arabella's tilted her head to the side. "Yes?" she asked.

[Rot]

Rot took a deep breath, hoping that Arabella wouldn't claw him. "Arabella? I know I kinda already told you this, but... I love you! I know this might sound weird, but whenever you are around, my whole world seems to forget all about the problems I have been facing. Whenever I am in DeathClan, in my nest, the only thing that I could think about is... you."

Arabella's breath caught as once again the little voice inside protested, but she ignored it. She found dwelling in the past never helped her in the present. Unless it had to do with something that could hurt her. Then she she just plain out ignored it. Like her experience with romance. What did that even say about her. Realizing she hadn't said anything, she smiled rather genuinely and nodded. "Well then I think what i have to say is good news," she said, her smile turning into a grinned. "I am going to move to Deathclan." She had considered it for a while before deciding, before their current conversation, and wasn't sure if it was about Stinger or the acctual benefits of living in a group.

"You are?" Rot meowed, not even knowing what to say. Then, he erupted into purrs. "Oh, Arabella!" Then he slightly tilted his head, "Why do you want to do this?"

Arabella shrugged. "Too many reasons. I had been thinking of it since before I met you. Now it's a mix of the benefits and..." she bit her lip. Saying 'Oh, I'm going because you live there,' would just sound ridiculous, so she came up with a new reason, "And it opens up new hunting grounds and better prey. I need to move on from my past, which is the only reason I picked my current home."

"Hmmm." Rot said, his tail flicking, "You told me to move from my past, but you weren't even doing it yourself!" Looking straight into Arabella's beautiful blueish eyes, Rot meowed, "You can take the hollowed tree next to mine. It's not taken yet."

Arabella shook her head. "I moved on long before coming here. I probably phrased that wrong though. Upon coming here I had wanted a reminder of who I once was. I just have to accept that I am no longer that cat. As as for my den... I've gotta scout out the area around it before deciding that."

Rot nodded, agreeing to everything Arabella just said. "I understand." He meowed solemnly. Then, flicking his tail toward her old hollowed tree, he meowed, "Are you going to miss this place? Are you sure you want to leave?"
