First time out of the nursery (OPEN)

[Fallpaw]

Fallkit was hesitating as he stood outside the nursery, conflicted.
He could either continue on his way and meet someone new, or he could go back to his nest and spend the rest of his kithood there.
After a second of deliberating, he sighed and walked out to the middle of the camp, soft brown eyes wide and black-gold-brown-and-white fur fluffed out.
He slowly rested on his haunches, wondering what now?

Olivekit didn't really spend much time in the nursery. She had heard mentions of some rule against such behavior, but didn't care to agknowledge them. The queens could worry about her all they wanted but she would be fine and fight them on stupid rules like that. Or any rules really. She broke her musing as she spotted a cat nervously walking out of the nursery and just sitting there in the middle of the camp. She swaggered over and gave an all to sweet smile. "Hello there youngling," she said, nevermind the fact that the other cat was probably just as old as her, "First time out in the big open world?" she asked, amusment twinkling in her eyes. It was big and open compared to the nursery she supposed. But she knew better. A few flaps of a wing and an eagle could fly all the way over the small area that was a prision of bordom they were confined to for 'protection.' Alas, staying in the camp was the one rule she listened to.

Fallkit nodded to the kit who had spoken to him. "Hi." He meowed, eyes wide as he took in the scenery.
"Uh, yeah. It is my first time out." He blinked at the she-kit and tipped his head to the side.
"What's you name?" He asked, curious.
"I'm Fallkit."

"I am Olivekit," she said in a tone as if everyone should already know that.

[Fallpaw]

"Oh, okay. Hi Olivekit." Fallkit meowed, smiling. Her tone didn't have any effect on him, he was very unconcerned about what other cats though or did. Fallkit racked his brain for something to talk about, wanting to get to know this kitten.

"Do you come out here often?" He asked, curious. Olivekit smelt like fresh air and leaves, so he was kinda sure that he did. That was pretty cool, he though she must be brave.

Olivekit smirked, "It's a bigger space that the nursery." she said, the word nursery bitter. Sure she slept there, but it was so tight and confining.

[Fallpaw]

Fallkit laughed and nodded, understanding. "Okay," He murmured, shaking out his fur as the wind ruffled it.

"So, what do you do when it rains if you prefer staying out here?" He asked, teasing a little now. He was intrigued by how Olivekit would prefer to stay out here, but he supposed everyone was different and this was who she was. It was cool.

Olivekit shrugged. "Why would rain bother someone? No, quite on the contrary, I like it when it rains." she said. "What about you? Surely some of the rain gets through the bramble roof of the nursery."

[Fallpaw]

"Oh, no I adore the rain. Most of the time. My fur is so thick and longer than mosts that the rain and it don't mix." He laughed.
"When it rains, I like to listen to it, not particularly be in it. It's okay when the shower is light, and then everything goes pretty with the water drops."

Fallkit watched Olivekit with curiosity.

Olivekit smirked slightly, but didn't comment. "So, what's your verdict?" she asked instead, "You gonna stay holed up in the nursery or come out here more often?"

Fallkit thought for a second before replying. "I'm gonna come out here more, that is a definite. It is so amazing, way better than the nursery!" He smiled at Olivekit, knowing that she would stay out here a lot, more than he would.

"Will you tell me more about you and what you do?" Fallkit asked, curious. He was curious a lot though, so no difference there. He never cared what others did or what they though, so if she didn't wanna talk, Fallkit wouldn't mind, he'd probably just try and get crafty.

Olivekit shrugged, "I was adopted into the clan at about two moons," she said, ignoring the second part of the question, and deciding not to embellish on the first answer. "What about you? What do you do all day?"

When Olivekit said she had been adopted into the clan, Fallkit let out a small oh. When she asked him what he did all day, he frowned.

"Not much, normally I stay alone and mind my own business. I play with Barkkit sometimes, but aside from that I just... I don't know. Nothing." He shrugged, shuffling his paws. "I like tree climbing."

Olivekit tilted her head. "Who is this Barkkit? I don't believe I've met... him or her?" she tilted her head.

Fallkit blinked at Olivekit. "Barkkit is my friend, she played tag with me." He smiled, "I was gonna teach her how to climb trees." He meowed, thinking of the other kit with fondness. Barkkit was a good kid.

"You should maybe meet her one day." Fallkit suggested, flicking his tail with a shrug.
