Sky missed seeing the stars. It used to be her favourite thing to do as a kit, perhaps it could have even been considered her coping method. Through all the abuse and fighting and training she found peace within the dimly lit sky. Now, she saw nothing. Her eyes had been physically taken from her long ago, and she found all of her memories of sight faded and wrong. She missed everything, but most of all the stars. She was slumped against a tree in a relaxed manner, basking in the moonlight. Perhaps once she could have looked pretty, her calico fur shining in the spotlight. Maybe if she didn't have so many scars, and her eyes hadn't been gouged from her head, other cats would look at her without cringing. Sky shook these thoughts away as a new scent pricked her nose. A cat was approaching. Rot

Rot was walking through the forest, thinking. He knew that pondering over the past never helped, but he thought of his mother. Oh, how she should die... Tormenting him, starving him, leaving him! If she was more like his father... Courageous, caring, thankful. Rot would have been loved. From both of his parents. If he had a chance to kill his mother and give the life to his father, he would take it. He wished that he could see his father again... And this time, not to be sent to his 'home'. Rot could still smell the disgusting rotting log in his memories. Anger rose like vile to his throat. Hissing slightly, Rot remembered as his mother told him that he suited the rotting log. Lashing out, Rot clawed a nearby leaf into shreds. Still not feeling any better, Rot scared the ground deeply with his claws.
Stopping away from the shredded sight, Rot stopped as he saw a she-cat laying beside a tree. Forgetting about the nature massacre, Rot lightly crept toward the she-cat. "Hello?" Rot asked, stopping a fox tail length away, "Are you okay?"

Sky's ears pricked as the stranger began to speak to her, turning her head towards him in amusement. It as a courtesy, really. She couldn't look at them anyways. Sky snorted at his innocent, almost concerned, question, flicking her ears in amusement. "Why wouldn't I be?" She snapped, a bitter tone in her voice. Why should he care? "And I could ask you the same question, you've got some serious anger issues, don't 'cha." Sky smirked. She had heard his claws tearing up a lead, then scoring the ground angrily. She really didn't miss much of the details.

Rot stared at the she-cat as she turned to look at him. Or just to face him... Rot stared at her as he saw her eyes... Or where they were supposed to be. Rot opened his mouth to ask if she was really okay, when she shot an answer at his first question. His pelt began to prickle as she told him he had some 'anger issues'. Instead of flaring at the she-cat, Rot let his curiosity take him, for the first time. "You... Heard that?" Rot looked over his shoulder, towards the area of his destruction. Did she really have that good of ears?

Sky let out a puff of air from her nose, twitching her whiskers. "I hear everything." She grinned with a nonchalant shrug. There were some benefits to being blind. Sky stayed laying down, not feeling threatened. Although, she was always prepared. Besides, she felt as though he wouldn't underestimate her if she was laying down so casually. "You got a name?" Sky's ears were always on the move, twisting and turning at every tiny sound they managed to pick up, yet her main focus remained on the stranger in front of her.

"Ummm, yeah. My name is Rot.... You?" Rot meowed, still unsure what was going on. "I belong from DeathClan." Even though he said 'DeathClan', his mind screamed, 'Nowhere!'

"Rot? Was that the name your mother gave you?" Sky questioned curiously, head tipped. Her voice was quiet, feeling as though the air demanded a stilled silence. "What do you think my name is?" Sky grinned, resting her head on her paws, awaiting an answer.
-I swear I thought I replied to this! Sorry!!-

"Yeah." Rot meowed, shuffling his paws. "My father wanted to change it, but my mother wouldn't let him..." When the she-cat asked him what he thro that her name was, Rot's mind went blank. "I have no idea... Can you give me a hint?"
(No problem!)

"You're mother must have been a joy to be around." Sky wrinkled her nose sarcastically, rolling her shoulders back to ease the tension.
"I can't give you a hint, that would ruin the whole point of this. I want to know what you think I look like." Sky raised her head a little, as if that would give him a better idea.

Rot caught on to the she-cat's sarcasm. "Yeah, pretty fun..." He meowed sourly, trying to sound like he was joking. Rot had a hard time joking around, especially with new cats.
"Hmmmm, well.... I would say that you been through a lot, and is not the one to be excited to meet new cats." Rot meowed, "In some ways, I would say that you are kind of like me..." Then he tried to make a joke. "Except that you probably don't take your anger out on leaves and dirt."

Sky's whiskers twitched in amusement, her tail tapping the ground at a slow pace. "Definitely not. I prefer to take out my anger on the cats who caused it." Her voice remained even, showing no signs of any threats behind her words.
"Perhaps you shred leaves instead of cats because you can't fight. Or maybe you're too scared. Perhaps your morals are strong? Unlikely, considering you're in Deathclan." She spoke, though she was mostly talking to herself.

"I am not scared!" Rot hissed, his tail lashing. "I am no coward! Soon as I find her, she WILL pay!" Sinking his claws into the dirt, Rot took a deep breath. His anger still burning, Rot sourly muttered, "Sorry... You didn't need to hear that."

Sky grinned at his tantrum, placing her head down on her paws. "You're like a kit, throwing tantrums all the time." She stated, pursing her lips in thought. "Maybe that's just what happens when cats have mommy issues." She was being cruel now. She didn't care.

"A kit?" Rot snarled, his teeth baring. Standing, Rot lashed his tail once again. "I am no kit!" If this she-cat could actually see, she would be able to tell that he was no kit. Mommy issues... What does that even mean? Looking away from the she-cat, Rot hissed, "What do you know anyway?" Sitting heavily, he meowed, "I didn't make my mother leave me when I was still five moons old! I didn't make my mother abandon me when I was ill!" Closing his eyes, Rot could feel his shoulders shake slightly. "I didn't choose to look this way..." He whimpered quietly.

Sky snarled unsympathetically, standing to her feet in a rather sudden twist of emotions. "You're a kit! You have way too much self pity, and throughout this short conversation all you've done is whine and complain! You hate the way you look!? Boohoo! You have mommy issues!? Suck it up and get over it!" She shouted in his face, entirely fed up with his childish ways. Her claws were unsheathed, digging into the dirt encase he decided to attack her.
