They are rockclanners no matter where they live." she responded, continuing on to the Fireclan border, of which they could only see the old rockclan territory. "What we see here is what Rockclan used to look like. It now belongs to fireclan," she said, "Beyond this is the normal, grassy plains of Fireclan."

Blazepaw slowly nodded her head still not fully understanding the thought of swimming, and why they wouldn't change their name, but didn't say anything as she followed her. The white apprentice stopped as she looked across the rocky land. "How come Fireclan got the land, and not us?" was the next question she asked. Couldn't the clans half the territory? she thought her odd eyes still focused of the Fireclan's land

Loudpaw nodded quickly as he trailed after Stormcloud, it would kinda confusing if Rockclan changed their name. At the sight of the rocky land, Loudpaw felt as though he could leap across the rocks. That would be fun, right? Still, he could get injured easily...

At Blazepaw's question, the apprentice's ears perked up and he glanced at his mentor, waiting for an answer.

Stormcloud tilted her head. "Well, that's a bit of a complicated question, especially since I wasn't exactly an Iceclan cat at the time. From what I gather, we were just moving back to our current territory after a huge avalanche, and then we moved camp, and we were focused on getting enough prey to feed ourselves, and we wouldn't have been in the best condition to go to war over the land," she responded to the best of her abilities.

Blazepaw nodded her head at her mentor's answer. That would make a lot of sense, if they weren't getting enough prey they would be weaker and not able to fight. "Oh that makes sense." she replied as she continued to walk.

[Loudpaw]

Loudpaw's eyes widened slightly at the thought of a huge avalanche, his fur standing on end. "At least nobody got hurt, right?" He murmured, flicking his eyes and tilting his head. Honestly, wars over land were kinda stupid, didn't they already have enough land? The apprentice went silent and walked faster.

"Claiming new land always ends in bloodshed, especially if it was once someone else's," she said, speaking from her own experience as well as the facts she had learned of that time. "They still had to fight loners and Deathclanners for claim of that territory," she said as they arrived at the next border. "What can you tell me about this clan?
