BurrSky hadn't been to the meadow much. She didn't find much interest in the lush grass. It was rather dull for someone who couldn't see, though she knew it would be pretty if she could. Sky's pawsteps were deadly silent, her tail perfectly still in the air, body in a focused crouch. She had caught the trail of a rabbit. Sky had been practicing her hunting skills, knowing she needed to brush up on it. Her fighting had been perfected long ago, even before her 'accident'. Sky lunged out as she neared the rabbit, who, upon killing it, she realized it was rather young. Not that it mattered. She took a few undistirbed bites, although the scent of a stranger hit her nose. She remained relaxed, tail swaying. Would she approach?

Burr grumbled as she stumbled over some sharp object. Why did this had to happen to her? Trotting away from the rock, or whatever it was, Burr scented a nearby rabbit. Crouching low, Burr slowly crept toward the scent, taking very light steps. Halting, Burr noticed that there was a faint scent of blood in the air. Relaxing slightly, Burr noticed that the blood scent had the rabbits scent all over it, but then a pool of anxiety flowed in. Someone killed that rabbit. Something was near. Staying in her crouch, Burr nervously called out, "Anyone there?"

Sky purred in amusement, her ears flicking softly at the strangers voice, who was clearly a female.
She stood slowly, her pawsteps inaudible as she circled around the cat, staying low to the ground through the high grass. "Hello, stranger." Her voice wasn't exactly welcoming or friendly, but it held no malice either.

Burr's ears flicked straight up as she heard the other cat speak. The she-cat seemed to be circling her... "Greetings to you as well." Burr spoke, with little hostility. Then sniffing gingerly, she meowed, "You caught yourself a nice rabbit haven't you?"

Sky sat down behind the feline, her ears flicking softly. The rabbit was in front of Burr now, and Sky urged her to take it. She wanted a reason to kill her. "Indeed." She stated slowly.

Burr always hated taking food from other cats, even if they told her to eat it. Since Burr didn't even know this cat, Burr just decided to let this s lay out. "Are you hoping that a random cat is going to run up and snatch that rabbit or are you going to let it sit to waste?"

"I'll eat it when I want to." Sky shrugged, leaning closer to the cat, nearly touching her nose to her ear. "Unless you want to fight for it." She whispered, tail flicking calmly despite her words.

Burr still sat, hoping this cat would soon leave her alone. She could sense the she-cat softly pad next to her, but she couldn't help but flinch as she whispered into her ear. "I don't even want your rabbit anyway!" Burr spoke harshly, "I have no intention to fight..."

Sky could sense the feline flinch, and she purred with pleasure. "Why? Too scared?" She challenged her, tail lashing excitedly. Sky was in the mood for a fight.

As the she-cat spoke, Burr couldn't help the growl that rose to her throat. Burr was always the one in her old family to cause trouble, and she and her brother where the two bravest out of the four siblings. "I am not scared!" Meowed Burr, not daring to bare her teeth just in case the other cat found it as a challenge (Burr still doesn't know that Sky is blind...). "I just don't want your rabbit? Okay?"

Sky danced around the feline tauntingly, a roguish grin on her face. "Ooh, you're most definitely scared." If the feline didn't cooperate soon, Sky might just attack her to provoke the start of a fight.

Sensing the feline dancing around her, Burr stood up sharply. She didn't want to be part of this... Why was the other she-cat so blood thirsty? "I am not scared!" Meowed Burr harder than before. Burr was rarely scared... Wait, no... Never mind. She WAS scared of that one night that she lost her sight. But then that was one of the only times... That and that she hated the forest. She always felt like someone, or something, was about to pounce on her at any second. "Why do you want to start a fight with me?"

"Because I'm bored." Sky responded simply, stretching her limbs out. With that, she lunged forward at the cat, who she was already fairly close to, knowing that she would have a hard time escaping. Her claws were out, paws extended, and if she hit her target, Sky would be able to clamp onto her sides.

Burr was just about mutter, 'then find something to do, when the she-cat hurled herself at her. Screeching in pain, Burr felt claws pierce her flesh. Kicking violently, Burr hoped she would throw the she-cat off.

Sky felt the claws pummelling into her side, though she refused to give in and get up. Her claws dug into the felines shoulder, and she aimed a bite down for her throat. It wouldn't kill her if she bit it, but she would bleed.
