When Thor turned and padded away, Asphyx furrowed her brow and followed him cautiously, wondering where he had decided to go. "What are you..." she started, before she suddenly caught herself and her eyes went wide with wonder. He had remembered where his old cave was, and it was just as beautiful as she had remembered, though he didn't seem to think the same as he barely looked around. Instead, he went straight to the pool, which quickly ridded his coat of the dist clinging to it. When he murmured quietly that he needed to soak, she felt a bit awkward. "Oh," she muttered quickly to herself, getting up in a slightly hurried rush as he would probably not like her sitting so close. Instead, she found a tunnel and climbed up its steep slope, finding that it was short and ended abruptly at a cliff, overlooking a forest. At the sight, she breathed out a small 'oh' and sat down slowly, knowing this was the cave she saw Thor sitting in when they first met. Her leg had been bleeding badly as she limped out of the forest in front of her, and a quiet sentence slipped from her mouth as her tail curled itself around her paws. "It's all déjà vu." SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY When the warrior felt satisfied, he made use of his powerful legs and pushed through the water, coming up to the edge and jumping out with ease. His fur was dripping wet, elongating as the water pulled down on it, a quick shake doing nothing against the thickness. Sighing, he dried it as best he could, fur almost as dark as his brother's in the end.
His eyes followed the path Asphyx had taken a little ago, the male following it himself to find her gazing out across the forest. A small smile was born onto his face, the feline he could call friend looking like an goddess in the soft glow of the moon. He quietly joined by her side, staring ahead at the scenery before them.
It was a comfortable silence, however, Thor was itching to get moving - to do something; anything. "Would you take a walk with me? Maybe we can find dinner along the way, if you're hungry."

Asphyx could sense when Thor came up behind her and sat down. He didn't say anything, but let the silence remain. It was a nice silence, comfortable, but she was glad when Thor broke it with a question. It was a simple question, but a nice one, and Asphyx flicked her eyes over to him, only to be surprised by seeing a nearly black cat. She let a smile cross her face, before standing up and turning completely toward him. "That would be nice. I'd like that."
Asphyx took one last glance to the forest. She scanned it over, taking in every green leaf, every brown branch. It was magical to her, and in the distance, she could spot the mountains she came down from. That mountain touched her homeland, somewhere she longed to be, but still didn't want to return to. "Where shall we hunt?" Asphyx asked, turning her uniquely blue eyes back to Thor, waiting for him to lead the way as her long, fluffy tail swayed slowly behind her. Those eyes were soft, holding a smile as her face also held it. WORDS: 194 TAGS: @//tags NOTES: OOOOH XDDDD

SEARCHING IN THE DARKNESS WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT RUNNING FROM THE DAY "I-" His words were cut off by uncertainty, as he followed step-by-step with the she-cat. "I wouldn't be too sure." Admitted the tom with a defeated voice, though a hint of light sarcasm shaded it. Though it would seem that he'd know his way round these parts, Thor had only lived there for a short while. Decades had been spent roaming around parts of Earth, and up until recently he had resided nesar the forest clans for few moons. "Wherever you'd like."sorry my post sucks + this whole timeline is so screwed up haha
