Sparrowfeather stumbled into the den awkwardly. She didn't feel well. Heatherpelt? she murmured quietly. Her voice was think with pain and hey Eyes and nose was streaming. She was wheezing. She could barely breath and she called again. "Heatherpelt" She had to stop. She was in pain. For the first time she began to notice her ribs were showing, along wit hevery bone in her body. She lied down where she was and laid her chin on her paws.

Sparrowfeather winced as she forced herself up and into a corner in the Medicine cat den. This was the first time she had ever gotten sick- At least like this. She was thirsty but tiredness overtook her. She began to sleep. it was a light sleep, wuth her wheezing and coughing but she still was able to close her eyes.

Heatherpelt padded in. She took one look at Sparrowfeather then sighed. "I'll have to tell Darkstar. Luckily we do have some catnip, but I'm only going to use a little." Heatherpelt disappears into the den and comes back with one lead of cat nip (cat mint) and ten leaves of fever few. She hands then to Sparrowfeather. "Eat!" she orders before disappearing to tell Darkstar the bad news.
