Poultice for the wound-This poultice is used to stop wounds getting infected and to heal them. It also numbs the wound so less poppy seeds are needed for wounds and can be applied in other means.-First, chew up the Mariold and Golden rod before adding the berries. Apply to the wound. Mariogold, Goldenrod and Bear berries 6:4:2
For white cough-This mixture is feed to a cat directly, and the cat should be closly watched for the next quater day to make sure that nothing bad is happening.-Get some feverfew and lavender. Mix them together in some water (A little clean puddle) feed the herbs to the cat, and then give the cat water from the moss to drink. 10:10
For Greencough-This is adding to the White cough mixture. You must always be careful, and make sure that it is greencough, becuase you don't want to waste the little resource of catnip you may have.- Prepare the mixture for white cough, and add in the catmint. It should be 2-3 compared with the 10s of the other herbs, depending on the hieght of the fever.
Fore all Fractures-This is used on cats who have sustained any kind of fracture. This is rather rare, but not unheard of.-Chew some comfrey into a poultice with dock and goldenrod. Push the bone back in place, if it has been put out of joint. Apply the poultice to the area. Add some oak after applying the poultice if it has been cut open. Get a rush, and put it up against the cat's broken area, secure it by bandaging it with reed. 6:4:4:(4) |
(These are all thought up by me, so I would apprechiate it if other cats don't use them unless they too have thought up the same remidies, although it is unlikely that anyone will figure out the same porportions.)

IMPORTANT- When you post a thread in the Medicine Cat Den, please post the nature or symptoms of the afflicted cat. It just sounds silly if we medicine cats have a cat come to us and we have to ask what is wrong. When role playing we don't have the sight to see what is wrong with the cat or the smell (which we would need to be a cat to tell, anyway) of any blood or illness. I also would find it considerate of you to give us a link if you expect us to be at some place outside then den. We may sometimes have time to look through every post in this board, but not all the time. We are both rather busy and have other duties to oblige to, including other duties on the site, to other sites, schools and clubs. I also would appreciate it if you don't get carried away with a thread or get impatient. I know that hasn't happened in a while, but I live in a different time zone so I will be on during times of the day that you probably can rarely make. I will not search the whole board for any threads where some cat has mysteriously got hurt so badly they can not visit me. I will not attend cats who post threads where they don't tell me what is wrong (This does not mean through speech. Describe it eg; Firepaw came in, his sides heaving from the recent battle. He had a large wound on his shoulder which was bleeding freely. Several other wounds cover his flame colored body, but not as a bad as the before mentioned. A few minor wounds where already beginning to clot up.
or; Frostfur came in with a tiny kit in her jaw. Its body was hot in her mouth and it sides heaved as it struggled to breath. The little kit's nose was crusted and when he coughed his whole body seemed to shudder.
That way I can roughly tell what is wrong. I don't need to know the kit has got green cough or white cough, it was plain in the words what the kit had and needed.
