i watched from a few fox legnths away, my unusual grey eyes glittering. i looked nervous, and there was a trace of fear in my eyes. i opened my mouth to speak, but i closed it again and looked down at my paws.

"Lightningpaw." i said quietly. i tried to hide the fear in my eyes. i ignored every single thought of my mother, and soon i was able to calm down enough that i didnt jump at every sound and that the fear dissolved in my eyes, replaced with a unreadable look. i winced and looked away from her gaze.
