Strange Newcomer

[Kurda]

Kurda ambled toward the border, her blue eyes distant and misty looking. She was truely a strange sight. Parts of her white fur were covered with mud and leaves. Her claws and face were stained red from the juice of the deathberry. To top it all she held a bone in her mouth. She was at the border and sat down. She stared straight ahead of her and was completely rigid. Then the bone slipped from her mouth as she yowled loud and frightenly.

[Thunderstripe]

Thunderstripe padded toward her as if everything was normal.
"Whats wrong?"

[Kurda]

She ceased yowling and fixed her stare at Thunderstripe. Her eyes turned wide and had an insane look. She spoke barely above a whisper, "I've traveled far and wide, inspecting the stars and the wind which carry omens. My travels brought me here which can only mean that the signs have been refering to this place. I, Kurda the Healer and Seer, have a warning that inflicts this land."

[Thunderstripe]

"hmm. Yes, the voices have been screaming to me lately, telling me something... what is it?"

[Blastberry]

a kit came out from behind Kurda.

"mommy are you ok?"
it squeaked as it saw thunderstripe staring openjawed at the kit.

[Kurda]

Kurda lashed her tail once and chanted,
"An icestorm will come down as well as a rockslide, rampaging across the land.
The trees will be covered with frost and the fire will go out by rocks.
But darkness grows in the heart of the elements, four.
They will cause death to rain from the heavens and the night to become never-ending.
Unless you head my warning, no one will be spared.
Every kit and elder will meet their doom in blood."

[Thunderstripe]

Thunderstripe's eyed widened, his attention drawn away from the kit.

"They.... told me this...but without words. their movements...... i see the prophecy in every warrior and kit...
every one of us.... we know it by heart, we follow its path... sightlessly.. and we don't know the game we're playing..."

[Kurda]

She nodded, "No one knows of this, but they will soon know. By then it will be too late. Their fate will be sealed unless someone stops this unknown force."

[Thunderstripe]

"Do you know any more? The voices say more to me... but its no more than a distant mumble.."

[Kurda]

She breathed heavily as her eyes closed, "They leave me now, but time never leaves things in the shadows."

[Thunderstripe]

"of course. All will be revealed... unless the voices drive me unto madness.."
Thunderstripe sat down. "It seems we understand each other.."

[Crowwing]

(Redheart) *pads up* Thunderstripe? Who's this?

[Goldpaw]

walks out from behind a rock "crowwing this is kurda healer and seer"

[Kurda]

(Goldkit, you weren't here when Kurda said her name so you don't know, so please edit that post. Thank you. )
She looked at the new cats, "Where are my manners, I'm Kurda, Healer and Seer." She then returned her attention to Thunderstripe. "Yes, we both seem to have the same affliction but in different forms."
