Training Sunkit

[Wildstar]

Wildstar reached a flatter part of the mountains with a few scrubby bushes and a pathetic tree or two jutting out of the rugged rocks. No, the mountains weren't ideal when it came to safety and prey, but they sure were pretty.
"What do you say we try to practice attack moves?" the leader asked.

sunpaw cocked her head " i think... that sounds peachy! " i stood with my paws spread apart, that way i would be able to manover easier if i had to.

[Goldpaw]

Bounds in "i want to practice too!"

"Okay, let's start with this," she said.
Wildstar walked backwards a little until she was a good distance facing Sunpaw. She wiggled her rear end in the air as she was on her haunches, and sprang, landing on Sunkit lightly her her paws around her neck, claws sheathed for safety.
"This move is a good one to get your adversary down and claw him," she said.
The leader got off Sunkit and said, "Now you try it on me."

sunpaw nodded in determination and wiggled her huanches and lept at wildstar, saddly though she had misjudged the distance and fell just short of wildstar landing in an heap on the ground. "oof... ooops" i got up and shook small pebbles from my fur.

[Wildstar]

"That was a great first try, Sunpaw! Next time, just put a little more power into your leap," she said. Wildstar readied herself for an attack.
"Goldkit, you aren't allowed outside of the camp! But just this once you can stay with us."

i nod my head in agreement. she steped a pace back, that way she could give herself more power. sunpaw lept at wildstar again and this time landed in the correct place. she had her paws around wildstar's next, of course, her claws had been sheathed. no need to be killing her mentor on the first day.
"was that ok wildstar?"

[Wildstar]

"That was great!" she said. "Now, for another move."
Wildstar backed up, the lunged for Sunkit's hindlegs, knocking her on her side. The leader set a paw on her belly and said, "This move allows you to rake the belly. Now repeat."

"ok... ok.... " I knew i would not be able to rely on my size to bring wildstar down, so i would need to use... well, force i suppose. i took several paces back and rushed at wildstar's hindlegs, making wildstar fall. she lept as fast as she could to place her paws on wildstar's stomach. "rawr, i killed you "

[Wildstar]

She chuckled in a catlike way.
"That you did. Er, if this was a real battle, you wouldn't have quite killed me, but you would have raked my belly over well, thus injuring me badly. So good job!" she cheered.
Wildstar looked around as she got up. What to teach her apprentice next?

sunpaw glanced toward wildstar, wondering if she would permitt it. she turned her gaze to shadowpaw and gave him a small smile. even though she didn't like him in that lovey -way, he was still my friend. i whispered "hi shadowpaw"
