Bloodflame walks to the far reaches of the CloudClan territory he knows. His favorite place to sun is there...and after the things hes been through.....a cat needs to just chill. He curls up as if he was a fragil kit at his mothers side and lets the sun go to work.

Peachwing fadded back in and sented her mate at a far point in the territory. Yet she knew that the rock there was fabulous for sunning and his favorite thing, besides her, was sunning himself. A smile on her face she trotted next to the stream that lead to the spot. Looking in the water she caught a reflection of herself. What? she though, as she saw a spot of light brown on her nose. Was she turning back her regular color before she died?

"Ah.........juuuuust relax bloodflame...... you earned this...." Bloodflame told himeself, so realxed in fact that he was oblivious to his loves nearbye presence. His purring could be heard for miles it seemed as the day for him...just kept getting better!

Confused over her fur she blinked, but the spot wouldn't leave. Maybe her vision was off today...yeah, that was it. Her vision was off! That's all. Peachwing told herself it over and over again and yet the same fear kept creeping up on her. If she really was changing back to her color what did that mean? Running fast she climbed up the hill to the rock and layed down abruptly next to her mate. Not saying a word.

"Oh! Hi Peachwing! I hope you FireClan visit went okay!" Bloodflame meowed, his warm friendly tone welcoming. He rolled over to Peachwing and started to lick her belly, hopeing to ease any of her stress. "Just Relax my love..........today is our day to chill...."

"It was fine." she said quickly. Her tail was twitchy and was flinging all over the place. Her eyes searched Bloodflame's that were still closed in pleasure of the sun. Peachwing's breathing grew rappid until she finally spoke. Too figety to stay still any longer she got up. "Bloodflame? Do you see anything wrong with me?!?" she asked, voice still quick and quiet. Not like her usual sweet gental voice.

"Alright......let me see....." Bloodflame opens his eyes, and almost instantly notices the spot of color. "You got a little something........right there....." Bloodflame meowed playfully, licking at the spot. But for some reason...it wouldnt wash away. "Hold on...I'll get it off!" Bloodflame licked harder, but not to hard as to make her uncomfortable. It just wouldnt budge!

"What does it remind you of Bloodflame. It's my fur...and it wont come off." she meowed, teary eyed. Backing away from the ravonous licks he was giving her. Though, it was hard not to laugh. Bloodflame always brought a smile to her face. He was always a hard pleaser. But this wasn't a time to laugh. What did the spot mean?

Bloodflame came back up to Peachwing, giving her ears a lick and nuzzling her chest. "Your so beautiful.......now youll be just stunning! I dont even think my unworthy eyes could bear to see you anymore........"

Peachwing was unamused. The was utterly freaking out beyond belief and Bloodflame saw this as a good thing. Shaking off the thought araising in her mind she smiled faintly and tried to drive herself that this is no big deal. "Yeah...I guess next time I see Skyflight she'll be shocked."

"Peachwing? I really really love you! But im only happy when you are!" Bloodflame sat down next to his love, rubbing his cheek against hers. He understood that even though this was a dream for him...Peachwing saw it diffrently. She might have seen it as an omen.....for he knew it could be! But he would protect her with his life!

Bloodflame rested his chin on her head. "I garuntee nothing will happen to you....not on my watch at least! For now...lets see this as a......opportunity! Not bad....but not exactly good....and we will deal with it as it develops into something we can understand"

She couldn't helpt but purr under his heavy head. Near him she felt safe and secure. Away from him she felt as if a part of her soul was torn from her. But that was true love. The love of two cats who risked everything to be together, and were trying desperatly to make the best of what was going on. "I can believe you. No..." she voice stopped and she rubbed her head under his chin, "I will believe you."
