Sparrowfeather padded slowly into the medicine cat den. It was dark. She flinched as she passed the dull grey entrance slowly walked in. "Skyflight? Heatherpelt?" She asked, wandering in farther. "Can I speak to one of you....?"

Skyflight streached and sighed as her muscles relaxed. "Yes Sparrowfeather? Is something bothering you?" she asked, a worried empressen planted on her face.

Sparrowfeather looked around nervously. "Well, kinda. Two things." She said slowly. "First thing is that...well I was talking with Hawktalon, and we kinda realized that both of us don't know who our parents are." She said, awkwardly. "And also..." She didn't really want to say this. Skyflight might get mad at her for not coming sooner. "I....don't see color anymore." She said sadly. She hoped no one had noticed. She didn't want Skyflight to find out that she'd been hiding it for almost two moons now.

Skyflight's ears flew back, yet her eyes remained in complete understanding. "Age is not something to be afraid of. It is something me all must face." she licked Sparrowfeathers head and looked in her eyes, "Hawktalon is a fine tom. I'm sure some of your kits would be jealous." she purred.

Roseflower padded in." Is something wrong with mom!" She asked rubbing her pelt against her mothers.

"Nothing is wrong Roseflower. Sparrowfeather mearly came to talk." she purred, giving a little wink to the Queen before dissapearing into her den.
