Eaglepaw wandered out of camp and into the forest. She found her favorite tree and climbed up the smooth bark. Eaglepaw had a dream last night about falling into a river like she had when she was a kit. But this time was different. She was not a kit but she was an apprentice, and Snakekit was on the bank laughing. The other thing that was different was she was in rapids and heading for a waterfall!
"What does the dream mean? Snakekit would never laugh if I was dying. And where is there a waterfall on the mountains?"Eaglekit whimpered.

"Well i had a dream that i was drowning in rapids and Snakekit was laughing for me. And i was also being swept away toward a waterfall," Eaglepaw shaked and whimpered.

She wrapped her tail around Eaglepaw "It was just a dream. Snakepaw would never laugh at you if that happened. Just remember it was a dream and that dreams can't hurt you." She smiled.
