Light of the Morning will always shine

[Morningdew]

Sleep was something Morninglight hated lately,Darkpool had tried reaching her many times. She hated it, that was their motive, to get her angry,so angry she would attack them. They planned to tame that anger and train her, Morninglight fought this feeling with every hair on her pelt. But even that wasn't enough, the darkness just kept creeping closer and closer...

Darkness over came her and he awoke beside a black pool of water, a pitch black forest surrounded her. Voices spoke over and over in her head You are the light, who will turn to dark and betray everything you know... the evil cat spoke. Suddenly a smoke gray tom stepped out of the shadows, a smirk on his face.

Morninglight shook her head backing up, the tom didn't care his green eyes seeking vengence. "I won't join you, ever!" She hissed into the silence that wrapped the pitch black forest.

"Oh but that isn't your choice." He held a small kit under his paw, Morninglight recognized her brother who had died at birth.

"Don't hurt him!" She yelled, but the kit was only an illusion, the tom crushed the kit and smiled evily.

Something dark and unwelcomed crept into her heart, she launched at the tom. This was what he wanted, he let himself be pressed down but suddenly he dug his long claws into her flank. Morninglight yowled and turned on him using the front paw strike. The tom only dodged the attack and tackled her, he was too heavy, pinning her down he whispered.

"Darkness is our ally..." Suddenly everything went black as a paw hit her head hard.

She awoke in the Warriors Den, oh no... she thought. They had gotten the best of her, and looking at her flank she saw the deep wound the toms long claws inflicted. Not to mention her headache, she tried getting up but that didn't work. "Hello?" her voice echoed through the den.

[Hawktalon]

Hawktalon woke up in the middle of the night to hear a soft whisper coming from somewhere at the edge of the den. Because Hawktalon was a Senior Warrior he was near the middle of the den and had to work his way through numerous cats bodies to find the source of the smell. Yes, smell. Ironically Hawktalon could not see well at night and had to find the sound through smell.

He was looking for scents that were different from all the other sleeping scents. He caught a strong fear scent from...Morninglight?

"Hey, what's wrong? Your fear scent is everywhere," he put a paw on her flank and wish he hadn't as he felt warm sticky blood on his paw. "Oh my...what happened?!"

(Sorry it's a short reply not much to work with. Also please excuse any typos with the letter "D" it doesn't work everytime I press it.)

Her eyes showed fear, she shook at the thought of that dream. It was a dream wasn't it? "There was this tom, in a dark forest with a pool of black water, he did this to me..." Her eyes seemed to be lifeless, but truly they were filled with darkness that haunted her every waking moment.

"Hawktalon, please help me..." Morninglight's head was outstretched to look at her wound and then like a lightning bolt hit her, her head fell into the moss.Those sightless eyes closed and her world spun into a never ending pit of darkness.(basicly im unconcious)

[Hawktalon]

He stared at her with wide eyes full of fear. The obvious thing to do was to get her to the Medicine Cat's den but he didn't know how he could move her. He ran outside and called just outside of the Med Cat's Den Skyflight, Heatherpelt! I need help with something!"

[Morningdew]

Morninglight felt a strange feeling, for once the darkness went away as she woke in a forest. A cat approached her, it whispered, "Starclan can not help you young warrior,find your own path to walk..." With that she awoke, but still having the worst headache she couldn't move.

[Skyflight]

Skyflight heard her name. Even though she was a deep sleeper she could hear when someone was in distress. It was a trrible burden. Especially if you we in war. So many bloody cats. Shifting through lifeless bodies to find those who you see. Other times, when a fire would sweep through the territory she could only take those cats who she could grab and run. Which were mainly kits and apprentices. If she was alone then, none would survive. This was why she wished that she was a warrior, strong enough to carry many cats within gentle jaws that have killed before.

She jumped up at the sound of her name. Running out she scaned the camp, her eyes adjusting to the darkness of the camp at night. "Hawktalon?" she called, eyes not get right to the light. Walking near the warriors den the sent hit her, "Who's bleeding?"

Without a word she turned tail and ran into her den. What had happened? Was someone attacked in there sleep? Skyflight's paws shifted through the piles of herbs and made a quick poppy, marigold, and cobweb leaf and ran outside.

[Morningdew]

The sound of Skyflight scurrying around to help her filled her mind, oddly she couldn't see it. Wait a minute, she could not see it!Was that blow to the head hard enough to wreck her sight? "Skyflight, i can't see! He hit me in the head really hard...and now i have a headache and i can't see you!" She was in full panic mode now,not holding back.

[Skyflight]

"Hush Morningdew. It's only night. Just wait a bit and yo'll be able to see." she took the cobweb and padded it lightly on the would. "How did this happen?" she asked, chewing on marigold leaves. It was deep, but not too bad. She wouldn't grow her fur back on some parts of it. But the hair would fold over it. The new warrior had a fluffy coat.

[Morningdew]

Nodding she let moonlight enter her sight, she sighed a relief. "How deep is it?"Morningdew knew only half the fur would grow back, for once she was happy to have such a fluffy coat. She was relieved but then answered,"I was in this dark forest next to a pool of black water..."She decribed the experiance and afterwards was breathless at the thought of it.

[Skyflight]

While the warrior talked Skyflight worked on the wound. When it stopped bleeding she put the chewed marigold into her wounds, then she inspected the warrior for more problems. Thankfully since she got here so soon there wasn't hardly any damage that wouldn't heal. At her estimite she would say Morningdew would be fully healed in a week. Sitting down she curled her tail over her paws and waited till Morningdew was done speaking.

"Darkpool cats. They're evil. These are powerful spirits, next time try calling some of the Cloudclan cats to help you. I'm almot positive they would. Darkpool cats lie. But if you can't, then try running towards anything that reminds you of love and happiness. Not even the great border can keep Cloudclan Territory from spilling into Darkpool Territory." she nodded, matter-of-factly.

Skyflight looked at the poppy seeds still left in the leaf bundle she brought, "Your wound is deep, but it will heal in a week. Are you in pain? I have poppy seeds that can take it away, but they could possibly put you in a deep sleep." Her eyes were filled with concern for the new warrior. Rest was the best cure, but she might be scared to rest with such dreams causing her trouble.

[Morningdew]

Morningdew sighed at the pain, the poultrice stung a bit but it soothed the wound after a little while. "Darkpool? That explains the black pool of water,I will try to contact a Cloudclan cat next time but when i was unconcious...one came to me.They said i had to find my own path to walk and they couldn't help me." That made her feel more helpless than ever.

She would do anything to keep the evil cats away, "Yes im in a lot of pain,I will take them, I need to try to build up an imunity to the Darkpool cat's powers to haunt my dreams." She licked up the seeds and drifted off into a deep sleep, but as she fell asleep she said. "Thankyou Skyflight..." In her dream she thought of happy things and this kept the evil cats away, she kept seeing that cat who told her she must find her own path in glimpses at the corner of her eye.

[Skyflight]

Skyflight waiting until the warrior was asleep. Around the den other warriors haden't even woke up. It was from the sun, this constant sun made many cats tired more often. The trickle of water in the medicine den had been running low. Hopefully they didn't have a drought, that would kill many. Seeing how the nearest water source beside the river tat runs through the territory is in Iceclan.

[Hawktalon]

Hawktalon dipped his head to Skyflight. "Thank you, it could have been really bad if you hadn't come along. He looked at the sleeping warrior feeling anxious and worried about her dreams. He hoped that she would recover well from the wound. He was no medicine cat, he couldn't tell for sure if she would be okay.
