69 Gathering

Ironically Batclaw longed to go back, and sit with his friends. "Well Lightningstrike it's been nice meeting you but I should be going." Without waiting for a reply he set off in the direction he had last seen Solarshine. He settled down beside Willownight since another she-cat was on his other side. "I'm back. Anyone miss me?" He asked feeling happier then he had when he stormed off.

[Willownight]

She rolled onto her back and pawed at the air. "I did!~"

He nudged his friend playfully. "I'm glad at least one of you did!" A purr rose in his throat. "So anything exciting happen while I was gone?" Hopefully this would start a conversation.

[Willownight]

She thought. "I got cold. And layed down next to Solarshine. Nothing much really."

[bat]

"Looks like you need me around to liven things up." The grey furred tom joked. "I met a senior warrior from FireClan. Her name's Lightningstrike quite a nice she-cat."

[Willownight]

She flicked her tail. "I think I've heard of her."

[Willownights facial expression when she said she layed with Solarshine: ._.]

She walked in and looked around.Her mentor never took her to a gathering before.Half because I was Flightwind,Earthfrosts freind,and half because her metor was "Busy" doing other things.

Hawktalon felt a familar tingly burn on his pelt and turned his head a fraction so he could see Squirrelpelt out of the corner of his eyes. Sure enough she was watching him from a little ways away. He locked her gaze and waved his tail in what he attempted to make into a friendly 'hello' but instead it looked more like his tail was having a spasm.

He twitched his ear awkwardly and turned to Coalfire who had approached him and said something. Unfourtanetly he hadn't heard what she had said. "Um...excuse me?"

"Hey Rainfeather.." I sniffed around for other cats, clearly not interested with the others.

She raises her head her green eyes clouded with untold thoughts. She had drifted into her la la land. She blinked a few times and mewed, "Yes what is it?"

[Alex]

"I didn't catch what you said. Could you repeat please?" he asked politely, swishing his tail over his forepaws.

She shook her head an small grin on her face, "I didn't say anything, unless you read minds"
She chuckled, "My name is Coalfire. What is yours?"

[Alex]

"Oh..." he could of sworn she had said something. "I'm Hawktalon," he smiled. "How's the prey running in Rockclan?"

"It runs well, how is it in FireClan?"

the deputy may be old but she seemed to becoming more alert with youth instead of becoming slow and clumsy with age. her ears heard the pawsteps before they approached, her teeth set into a snarl as she turned at the first word the stranger spoke,;

' why, hello there. '

one sniff was all she needed to determine her clan. but squirrelpelt had nothing much against their clan besides them being of a totally different nature.

' you are... ? '

the deputy could only assume the other cat knew her as well as the iceclan leader. because, of course, those of power had their names whispered about much more than those without.

she gave the cat a sad attempt at a grin then settled below the leaders, her eyes searching the clearing and keeping her eyes on the pelt of those troublemakers

~!~Gemshard shuffled back a half step.

She had forgotten the FireClan's deputy's' personality. She curled her lip slowly, awaiting her chance to speak. "Why hello there" the deputy said. ~!~

~!~Gemshard nodded once, a simple "hello" was shown. "You are?" Squirrelpelt spoke again. ~!~

~!~Gemshard whisked her tail once, murmuring a barely audible "Gemshard." And flicked her tail again, ending any further conversation. She sat close to the back and waited for the gathering to start.~!~
