at the silence, the deputy grinned quite happily and turned towards the leaders, bowing her head slightly, encouraging them to start their announcements.

Wildstar piped up, "Um, well...we didn't really have a need for this gathering..."
She looked down at the cats below, expecting to see faces of confusion and irritation. But it was the truth; the leaders had spontaneously decided to come together with their clans for the soul purpose of...er, for the purpose of gathering?
But she swished her tail tip to dismiss what she had started saying. With so many cats, how could she disappoint? Even though the real gathering was on the rise, she figured she may as well deliver some news.
"IceClan has been fine, actually," she half-lied. "We could use a bit more prey, however. That is all I have to share."
She looked at the other leaders as if to tell them to step forward-even though they couldn't move much on the branch, and share a tidbit of news. She waited patiently for one of them to do so and speak up.

From the shadowy depths of the deep, dark ground, a sinkhole emerged into the center of the Shared Clearing. All of the clan cats ran to escape its fate; falling in would be the last thing anyone would ever want to do.
But falling out was the last thing anyone would think possible.
'Falling out', the phrase, in itself was an oxymoron of sorts. How could one fall out?
Only one cat was special enough to warp this world as we knew it; only one cat could work her way around science and prove to be truly magical. That one cat was well known in the clans, especially FireClan. She had died a death so erotic and trippy, that her face was imprinted in everyone's minds. No one could forget this legendary beast.
Moonfeather.
Just after everyone had thought it safe; when everyone had thought that a crazy and strange occurrences were gone, they would soon see that they were dead wrong.
Moonfeather shot out of the hole like water from a geyser, her muscles rippling. She landed squarely on her paws, a star-shaped scar the color of silver shined on her forehead, above her sparkling eyes.
Her mouth shrunk and her head grew; her legs were growing taller and taller until she towered over everyone in the clearing.
"The sky," she grimanced. "The sky is FALLING!"
She ran around flailing, in her body's strange state, knocking down trees and rocks.
"TAKE THIS AS A WARNING!" she shrieked.
With that, six orange pixies came trailing out of the sky. With a snap of their fingers, Moonfeather had returned to her original state; normal-sized, headless, and a pink outer glow. The pixies swirled around Moonfeathwer, creating a tornado, and they all disappeared, leaving nothing more than traces of pixie dust in their place.

after her friend had left, she turned towards the leaders, a question upon her face. she knew what they were all thinking,,.. or so she supposed. the sky is falling. what could it mean?!

"I..." Wildstar whispered softly, only so that the other leaders and the few gathered beneath the tree could hear. "I'm not sure."
Wildstar was gaping at the spot where Moonfeather had been. Oh, Moonfeather, how you were ever a strange cat. Strange indeed. Moonfeather hadn't been on Wildstar's thought in the recent moons, but after witnessing such an ordeal, she would haunt her for moons to come.

the deputy heard the grouchy old elder's speech, being one of the few daring to talk during such a time.
' what is your meaning of such talk, elder? '

"A retired medicine cat should know, Squirrelflight. I have been visted more than once by Cloudclan. I can usually predict what they are saying." I looked directly at Squirrelflight.

squirrelpelt flashed her eyes at the younger cat before returning them to the senior warrior. ' if you're so sure, then pray, tell what they're trying to say. such a message from that warrior is sure to be important. ' she met the senior warrior with challenging eyes, daring her to say.

"Wasn't the cloudclan cat the same she-cat that died in the battle between Rockclan and Treeclan versed Iceclan and Fireclan? I reconize her voice..." I asked the deputy.
