After all the kit's had gone outside to play with one another, Featherkit had stayed to nap. Now most kit's would find that a punishment rather then an enjoyment. But Fetherkit's mind wasn't wired like most. For instance she enjoyed solitude.
But as she awoke from her nap the little she-kit found herself somewhat bored. She scrambled into a sitting position, and then proceeded to groom the fluffy grey fur she was blessed to call her own. But no matter how hard she tried it wouldn't stay down. Frustrated she stopped realizing it was a hopeless cause. So there she sat hoping some cat would come and rescue her from boredom.

I also woke from sleeping. But I had'nt noticed Featherkit. I sighed and looked outside.

He padded in, after leaving the love birds Frostkit and Sunkit. He smiled at Featherkit. "Its good to see you again." He purred.

"Yeah." Cloverkit was much larger than him. She was going to the apprentices den soon, then he would be with just Featherkit.

He looked sadly at Cloverkit, his ear flattened back. "Cloverkit?" He called after her.

"Good-bye then." He almost growled. He stalked to the back of the den and flopped down. His eyes glinted against a shaft in the roof.

"Hi Adderkit." Featherkit mewed her head on her paws. "Something wrong?" She asked somewhat concerned for his well being.
