i padded into Sunblaze's den. "Sunblaze?" i called out, my cloudy eyes containing a small spark of hope. "Silentstep?" i called out the other medicine cats name. "are any of you here?"

i looked towards her voice. "hi Sunblaze. im sorry to bother you. but i was just wondering...is there any cure to blindness?" i asked, my voice soft and gaurded.

She looked at the kit, not wanting to tell her the truth. But she had to. She walked over to Quillkits side and lightly flicked her tail on the kits shoulder. "Quillkit, I'm sorry. But there is no cur-" She cut off, not wanting to say more.

"umm, i guess if you need help with collecting herbs or something, i could help if im not out training with Darkheart." i said. i wanted to help Sunblaze. she probably didnt get a lot of voulenteers. //i hope she doesnt think i want to be a medicine cat.// i thought.
