Most importantly… have fun!
First, all artwork posted must be made by you; if you are using parts of images that were not made by you, you must either get permission from the original artist or ensure that the image is free-to-use. This is especially true for lineart, photo manipulations, etc. Do not claim that something is yours if it isn't.
If you request artwork from members on VWW, give credit to the artist in your signature if credit is not already on the image. You should do this even if you got the art from an image sharing website like DeviantART. If there is no credit, it counts as art theft - which is absolutely not permitted. Was your art stolen? Message a staff member so they can sort things out.
Artists are not required to resize images they make. That responsibility belongs entirely to those who requested; make sure the image is small enough before putting it in your profile. However, if the art in a thread is so large that it stretches the board, it should be linked instead or made smaller. There's a guide for this in the Essential Info board.
The main site rules apply to all artwork posted here. No extreme violence, swearing, sexual themes, or other adult themes.
When critiquing images posted here, please remember your manners! Do not be too harsh. You're entitled to your own opinion if you don't like someone's style, but keep rudeness to yourself.
Last but not least, this is just a recommendation - make a post in our artist directory if you post your works here! This makes it easy to keep track of our active artists. Don't forget to check back and update your listed information once in a while!
