I sat on my garden fence and licked my paws in silence. There was a sharp tang in the air, but I didn't know what it was. I went up to my chest and began to lick again. The tang was becoming stronger. Suddenly, I caught a glimpse of red fur behind a bush in the woods. A large, furry animal came out, teeth showing. "Help!" I cried.

*She heard the help and jumped over her fence, not knowing what she would find on the other side.* "AH!" *Pewter climbed her fence again as quickly as possible and stood near Chloe. She arched her back and her fur stood on end.* "Wha-what is that beast!?"
