Now, i am pretty good at writing, once i get into, but the hardest part for me is always either finding something too write, or once i do. Trying to make a beginning to capture the reader. Sure anyone can start it off, explain the story, introuduce the people and what its about. But i like to try to make the 'mysterious' beginnings and as i said capture the reader and make them want to read more0_O Know what i mean? Is there any like. . . 'Routine Things' that helps doing this
Edit: Ooc: Btw. Lol can i join?

Read Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment. It has a great cliffhanger beginning. Though most authors start with an introduction, it's better just to make a mystique. Prologues are the best places for the mystique in it. The first chapter is where the introduction belongs. I'd suggest reading the Fugitives and the Protectors series. Both of them. The storyline sort of mashes together. In Maximum Ride, all the chapters are short, funny, and mostly sarcastic. But if you want to be a great writer, I would suggest doing something all your own. Something unthinkable. Like...starting with a side character, rather than the main character. It throws the readers off, and they'd want to read more. You dig? (WOW! I've been watching too many movies. XD)

xD Sure, you can join. And I have a few more.~ ^.^ 7) Fablehaven. Read it. Now. You CANNOT live without Fablehaven. It's amazing. 8) Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. They're perfect examples of famous literature. 9) The Inheritance Series. The author is a best-selling teenager. ;p 10) Artemis Fowl. Those are pretty neat.~ ^.^ Sci-fi and fantasy mixed in a cool way. 11) Candy Shop War, from the same author as Fablehaven. 12) Harry Potter, if you haven't already. Read all of them. Seriously.

If you haven't already, try the Sophie McKenzie books. I've read all of the Medusa Project ones, and I think they're amazing!
