i walked into the apprentices den for the first time, hoping it was something like the layout in the nursery. i knew it wasnt when i walked straight into one of the walls. "ouch." i muttered. i backed away, trying to find an unoccupied nest. i tripped on a stick or moss or something, landing right next to a nest with some sleeping cat. "sorry," i whispered, trying again to find a nest.

i turned towards the medicine cats voice. "coming." i said, padding over. "thanks," i said, reaching her.

I looked over sadly. I went over to Quillpaw. "Hi. Wanna be friends? I lost a leg due to an injured paw." I mewed shyly. I limped to her and studied her. "If you need help getting around, I can help you." I mewed shyly, noticing her eyes. "What's your name??" I mewed shyly. "I'm Firepaw." I licked her ears and fell asleep in her nest. In my sleep my tail twitched lightly.
