The voice scared him at first, and he almost slipped. Then he saw Feather. "My name is Mouse. Of course I don't come from the forest!" He ended with a short laugh. Then Purdy came. "Lost?" He shrugged. "I think so. My twolegs keep me outside all the time."

A bit overwhelmed he awnswered. "Hello Smokey, I am Mouse, and not in the clans." Then turning back to Feather and Purdy he mewed, "Sure, why not?"

(thanks....... i must seem so pleasent now...  ) Purdy stopped herself from asking any more questions. Her owner, Maggie walked out behind her and picked her up. Maggie: "HI PURDY!" She stroked Purdy's head. "Aw..." She looked at Mouse. "Do you have an owner?" She petted him too. |
