She staggered in to the den, her eyes tired with sleep. It was late night, the moon was high in the sky. She groaned, her chest was aching. She coughed before breathing out the words. "Fernpelt?" She flopped backwards on her rump. Could this be the first signs of Green Cough?

Fernpelt whipped around from organizing the dead herbs from the still useful ones. She made her way to Leoparddash and inspected her cautiously. She hoped it wasn't greencough, she didn't have a good enough supply of catmint quite yet. Could greencough be starting so soon? "How do you feel? Lts of coughing, your throat feels clogged?" Fernpelt asked. Soon she would have to make the trip to the TwoLeg place.

She nodded. She tryed to keep her talking minimun but it could be done with ease. She slipped into a lyingposition, her eyes locked on Fernpelt. They were full of concern and a bit of shame. If it was green cough, when food was scarce she couldnt do anything about it.....

Fernpelt sighed, the cold clawsof winter were upon them like DeathClan at it's prey. "Okay, tomorrow morning I set out with some apprentices to gather catmint. Just stay here for a moment..." Fernpelt trailed off, looking for a bit of tansy. "here, have this until i can get some proper medicine for you." Fernpelt offered, laying the herb down in front of Leoparddash.

[Leoparddash] "Thanks.." She rasped. She licked up the tansy, it taste horrible but she was to tired to complain. She rolled over to a nearby moss nest. "Do you mind if I stay here tonight?" She mewed roughly. She was concerned if she passed on the sickness to the other warriors. But her eyes had already closed, defeat grasped her like cat on prey. She sighed as her breathing became shallower as she clawed her way into sleep.

Fernpelt noddewd, though she knew the cat was already asleep. She wouldn't have any sick cat leaver her den until she could treat them. in fact, she left the den right then to announce the gathering.

Her sides heaved up and down, though she was peaceful. She stireed when she heard Fernpelts paws fade into the distance. She began to dream but it was just darkness, frightening.

Fernpelt trotted it, a bundle of catmint that you couldn't see her face behind in her mouth. Fernpelt tiredly dropped it into her shelves. Picking out a few sprigs, she handed them to Leoparddash. "There, you should be better soon," she mewed.

Noticing Leoparddash was motionless, she frantically nudged her with he rpaw. After her second nudge, she sighed with relief. She had over-reacted, she was still breathing. Fernpelt opened Leoparddash's mouth and put the catmint in, hoping it would wake her up, the exciting juices might revive her.
