"Okay!" She mewed and ran out of the den towards the Fresh kill pile. A few moments later she ran back into the den with a plump vole dangling limply from her jaws. "Here you go, Fernpelt!" She smiled and set down the Vole at her paws

Fernpelt eyed the piece of FreshKill hungrily and dropped her hebs, eating the vole, bones and all, in a record time of 6 seconds. The vole portal was doing well.

Fernpelt looked at the almost-an-apprentice kit. "I don't think you need to," she felt like mewing. The kit reminded her so much of Sparkclaw. Maybe CloudClan gave her another chance.
"At least stories remain," Fernpelt mewed, returning to her work.

"Sure, make sure you don't rip any, though," Fernpelt gave a helpful suggestion while straightening out a leaf. They were almost done, and then she would need to go get some more elder berries. Not to mention tansy and goldenrod.
