A cool breeze swept into the Nursery maneuvering around the kit's until it managed to ruffle a young kit's fur. A 'Huh?' was simply uttered. A sign that someone had been disturbed. From what you ask? Why sleep of course.
---
His eyes opened a crack as a cold breeze seeped into his fur. Curse his stupid thin fur. Of all the disadvantages this one had to be the worse. He wouldn't be able to venture outside at all in the winter month's for CloudClan's sake! And to make matters worse he would be an apprentice by then meaning either way he would be expected outside.
The fairly newborn kit let out a little snort as these storm of thoughts clouded his mind. It seemed that already at such a young age he was known as negative. Hey at least he wasn't one of those cats who were off the charts peppy, making others around them weary with way to much optimism. Then their were always others --the complete opposite like him. Who cat's tried to avoid because of the bad vibes that came from them. So anyway he put it in the end Whipkit just decided the later of the two was easier to be.
Funny how all this started from a simple breeze creeping into the den. How in the world did it get all the way back here? That's when his sharp yellow eyes spotted a small hole in the side, just below eye level. To most cat's it would have been practically invisible considering Whipkit himself hadn't noticed it until this very moment. Using his quick thinking he stuffed it with a wad of moss.
'Much better.' He mumbled under his breath, about to sink back into his nest. As he settled down and was about to shut his eyes a thought occurred to him. He wasn't the slightest bit tired anymore. 'Stupid breeze.' He cursed under his breath again simply staring off into space with narrowed eyes. As if anyone would bother to be awake at this late hour.
