I pad into the Medicine Clearing, my front left leg held up. I sit down and try to gently set my paw down, wincing at the contact. "Fernpelt, i need you!" I called out quietly, trying to keep from waking the other patients.

Fernpelt, who had been treating Poppypaw, turned. "Just a moment," she said before seeing his leg. Fernpelt rushed over, inspecting it closely.
"How did you get it? Does it hurt here? How long has it been broken?: A flurry of questions escaped as she lightly pressed down on his upper foreleg.

I'm not too rushed at Fernpelt's questions. I reply to each "I fell out of a tree and onto a fallen one, A bit, This morning." I wince as Fernpelt touches my leg.

Fernpelt shook her head disapprovingly. "You should be better at climbing than to fall out of a tree. Tsk! This morning? Shouldv'e come earlier. Okay, if it hurts there...it mustn't be badly hurt," Fernpelt mewed, turning and nosing through her stock.
"Ah, here. Some goldenrod and marigold poultice, some poppy seeds for you to eat. What else... oh, yes, comfrey and a splint of water rush. I'm running low on those...better go on over to the Firestorm and get some. Oh, yes. cobwebs."
"Good as new!" she exclaimed when she had applied the poultices and splint.

I wince as Fernpelt applied the poultice to my broken leg. I very gently set my leg down and found myself surprised that it didn't hurt as much as before. I lapped up the poppy seeds Fernpelt gave me and said "Thanks, when should I resume my duties? TreeClan will need all the available warriors it can get since leaf-bare is approaching."

Fernpelt nodded, this had been on her mind as well. "We do need as many warriors possible, but having a blundering, hurt Crowshadow around to scare the remaining prey won't help any. Rest for about a week," she mewed, her mind still treating Featherbreeze.

I nod "Alright. I understand." I let out a yawn. The poppy seeds were starting to take effect. "Alright. I guess i'll see you later" I start making my way to the Warrior's den, being careful of my leg.
