Dogkit sat quietly by the entrance, remaining inside the Nursery. She stared at the tracks in the snow, and the big dip where Chemicalkit had collapsed. Thoughts were racing through her head, all of them involving Chemical's injury. Dogkit felt bad. About being rude to Greycloud and about Chemicalkit's hurt paw. It could possibly be her fault,
After all, she knew better ... |

Beachkit padded up to her and sat down and looked to her, then outside, then back to her and frowned.
"What are you staring at?"
She asked politely with a little smile.
"I'm Beachkit by the way. Who are you?"
She asked kindly.

Whipkit spotted the small grey outline of Dogkit sitting all alone by the entrance. Thankfully it appeared she had thick fur, for she didn't seem the slightest bit cold. Feeling bad for the fellow kit he left the comfort of his warm nest and trotted over to her.
"Hey. Something wrong?" He mewed once had reached her taking care to sit a few mouse lengths away from her. |

She watched Whipkit pad up as if she wasn't even there. Her ears wnt down but she forced them up and forced a tiny smile.
"Umm, Hey?"
She tried to get Whipkits attention so he realized she was also there. Then turned back to Dogkit.

She looked away from the slushed ice to meet Beachkit's eyes. "The snow," the kit simply answered, looking back at the area they had played in. "My name is Dogkit," she mewed softly, not able to meet the yellow kit's gaze.
The fimiliar voice of Whipkit reached her small gray ears, her mood started to brighten a little, but not much. Her deep blue orbs looked up at him, Dogkit's pupils held a small light as the sun cascaded into her eyes softly. The light didn't burn at all, it felt warm and relaxing instead. "Everything is wrong." She replied, sounding slightly like an annoyed snap.

At first she seemed to be in a better mood before she answered then when she finally addressed him her voice came out sort of a hiss. The kit withdrew his ears flattening against his skull. He didn't like when anger was directed specifically at him. "Well ... that's good to know." He said flatly his eyes narrowing to slits. [/color] |

She flicked her ear in silence. "Good to know you care," Dogkit meowed sarcastically. The kitten looked at him with a small glare, "Where's your little buddy Amberkit? Aren't you here little follower? I'm actually surprised that she's not with you!" The gray she-cat snorted, looking away to the snow. She looked back at Whipkit with sad, blue eyes. "I'm sorry," she apologized with a sigh, "It's just Chemicalpaw's isn't here anymore. I feel bad about what happened ... " Dogkit admitted, gazing at him softly.

Whipkit still felt hurt even after the apology which he hesitantly excepted with a dip of the head. He now understood why most just left Dogkit alone, it was obviously due to her tempetr. "Chemicalpaw will still visit though." He simply stated in a firm tone, besides not to far from now he too would be leaving this Nursery behind along with all the immature kits. [/color] |

[ Of course. X D ] A familiar kit walked onto the scene making a satisfied grin appear on his small muzzle. He gave Dogkit a look that said "Told you so." He was clearly satisfied as he turned towards his friend, Chemical and called a out a loud obnoxious greeting. "Well hi there Chemicalpaw. Who knew you would come and visit us soooo soon~?" That was all Whipkit needed to say for he had just proved to Dogkit that he was smart and the best. [/color] |

She stared at Chemicalpaw with a small smile, but her voice was flat. "Yeah, who knew?" Dogkit looked to her left, staring at the ground. The kitten felt like leaving. Maybe she could play with her friends ... Oh wait, she didn't have any. Her blue eyes stared at the den's floor, seeing some of the snow that had piled in the Nursery. "I'm gonna leave now ... So ... Bye." Dogkit murmured half-heartedly before trudging into the white snow of the campass. |

Brightkit leaped into the snow, her white pelt blended in easily and her thick fur insured she wasn't cold. As her green eyes where the only thing that gave away her location, then she leapt out covered in the cold snow. "Hi!" she squealed at the other cats spraying snow onto them as she shook her pelt. She felt toasty as she sat down then stood up to leap into the snow again.
