Moonpaw grabbed some moss and brambles and started to make her nest. She sighed. She missed her mother and playing with Tinypaw. Now, she was Gemshard's apprentice and proud of it!

I crawled over, my ears laid back. I crept into my nest my stomach filled with prey and terror. I fell asleep.

Moonpaw could see that her friend was afraid. "Are you ok?" she asked. She felt like she asked this question all the time. It seemed her friend was always troubled. Why couldn't she feel better?

"I'm fine." I growled playfully. I looked over to where my shadow was standing. He nodded at me, smiling. I jumped on her. "Attack!!!" I yowled. No one couldn't see my shadow, but they could see it.

Sashapaw walked in excited.Well she was now an apprentice.
She heard Tinypaw's voice and another.''Hey Tinypaw!''She mewed cheerfully to her.For once she looked like she was having fun.She smiled,''You still remember me right?"she asked,half joked.
Then turned to Moonpaw,''Hello''She mewed politely,smiling,''I don't think we met before,''She mewed,''The names Sashapaw.''

(It's Gemshard) Moonpaw padded up beside her best friend and smiled her warm,proud smile. "Mine is Moonpaw and this is my best friend Tinywhisker." She nodded at Tinywhisker as I said her name.
