I was in my nest trying to go to sleep. When I looked out at the camp, I saw a few fireflies outside. It haden't been to cold outside today, so I walked out.
It looked like the whole camp was lit with fire that wouldn't burn. I stared in awe with a smile on my face. I looked at one firefly up close. They were glowing. It seemed as if the stars decided to come closer to earth, alot closer.

Featherkit~ Featherkit bounded over to Acornkit.She brushed passed him."Come on Acornkit.There's fireflies out."She yowled happily.She started to dance around.her mother and her use to dance around and run everywhere but that was before the rogues attacked Featherkit's mother and killed her.

The cute silver kit padded over, not making a sound other then the frost crunching between her toes.
"Hey Acornkit, Featherkit," Echokit meowed, then stared at the bright glowing embers in the air, making her sapphire eyes gleam.
"T-the stars are floating in camp!" She exclaimed with wonder, and gentley pawed at one that was near her nose.

Icekit poked her head out of the nursery "Hey what is going on out her" she asked with a light voice. Icekit watched the little lights float around and she smiled "Who the are so pretty" she said jumping around.

Leaping up onto her hind legs, she captured one of the glowing bugs in her paws.
Descending back to the frosty ground, she peeked into her cupped paws, watching the little creature.
Echokit let it go, and observed it fly back into the sky to join its companions.
“Hello Tinypaw,” She greeted with a nod. “Aren’t they amazing….” The kitten breathed. |

Starkit walked out of the nursery, after hearing mewing outside, then saw fireflies outside. Starkits eyes glowed and sparkled by the glow, "Wow" she said as her eyes widened.

The red-eyed kit walked past Starkit and Tinypaw, not interested in their chat. As she ducked out of the nursery something bright floated past her. Can I eat that? she wondered. Might as well try! She opened her jaws and ran after the fireflies, hoping around to get one.

[ XD I knows. ] Then she caught one! Ecxpecting a wonderful taste, she smiled and closed her mouth. Then she spit it out, horrified. "Ew!" she squeaked.
