[Sleekpaw]

Sleekpaw padded into the apprentice's den shortly after his ceremony. He spat in disgust at the terrible oder that romed the apprentice den. Yuck! It smells worse than Crowfood in here. Sleekpaw hissed annoyied by the apprentices not doing thier duty correctly. He had the right mind to tell Beechstar about thier lazyness. But he chose not to be a 'tatel tail' at the moment.

Sleekpaw shuffled his paws through the den with his moss to create his bed. He laid it down in a spot that he could call his den. He Shifted the nest constantly trying to make it a least bit conforable. The oder didn't seem to leave the den, his nose burned of the nasty scent.

Emeraldpaw was in a snow nest in a nice spot in the den. "Hey Sleekpaw." She meowed kindly to her friend. Her snow nest was very comfy. But the smell was horrid."The apprentices look like they never leave this den at night." She meowed. Emeraldpaw looked over at where Sleekpaw had made his nest. "Need some help?" Emeraldpawasked. it looked like he was having some trouble making his nest comfortable.

Chestnutpaw was on her back as the newest apprentice of them all giving him a sly smile as the oder reached the young toms nose.
"I see you've smelt the smell."
She mewed calmly her eyes glinting in amusement in the dim light of the den. Nodding to Emerladpaw she sat up and licked her ruffled up fluffy brown tabby pelt. Swishing her tail on the ground calmly the shy she cat just smiled and sat there silently. Only speaking when needed and if wanted, like putting in a side comment or a little funny quote or such and such.

Emeraldpaw looked at Chestnutpaw. "Don't pick on him." She meowed. Nobody would pick on her best friend.

She just blinked, picked on him? Why, she was only making a cute little statement. But, oh well, she was used to this sort of reaction.... She gave the other new apprentice a kind gentle smile.
"Sorry, I was just trying to be a bit funny. Ill think better of speaking next time."
She responded calmly smiling the whole way, trying to be positive, since that was usually how she masked what she felt. Chestnutpaw had many countless times of practicing and was clearly good at drama. She had as much -and probably more- imagination as a kit, and as good as sly, sneaky, masking her face with the emotion she wanted like a rogue.

Emeraldpaw just layed down. She wanted friends but she didn't want Sleekpaw to get upset. She just didn't know what to do. Life was so confusing. Emeraldpaw put her head on her paws and sighed.

Yawning she dipped her head politely and headed outside the den, leaving the two best friends alone. Blinking away her fake mask of disguise for a second, reflecting, jealousy and sadness.... But only for a second! Leaving no cat see her fake identity she quickly scurried to the freshkill pile and grabbed a flimsy piece of bird and lied down just outside the apprentices den. Happily chewing away at the stringy bird.

Emeraldpaw layed there embarrassed. She looked over at Sleekpaw but quickly glanced away. It was very uncomfortable for her right now.

Sleekpaw growled at the exiting apprentice, flee-day he snarled under his breath finally finishing his den. I'm good emeralpaw. he mewed pleased.

Emeraldpaw~ "Being an apprentice is kinda boring." She admitted.

At least you have a Mentor that knows her right paw and her left. he mewed. His tail flicked around.

Emeraldpaw~ She laughed."Yeah well Acorntree is alright." Emeraldpaw sat up and faced Sleekpaw. "She's really that bad huh?" Emeraldpaw asked.
