Infernokit laid in her nest, fast asleep. She was the newest kit here, and hadn't really a care for things here at the moment. She has been called vain and carefree, but she took pride in that. So she slept away, waiting to be awoken...

The lithe black form of Burntkit was crouched in the corner only his pale yellow orbs visible. He stared at the pitch black she-kit that was curled up in her nest, appearing to be snoozing. Out of sheer boredom the tom kit got quietly to his paws, and crept toward her treading lightly on the den floor. Finally he halted a mouselength or so away and prodded her with a paw, waiting to see her reaction. |

His eyes narrowed showing his displeasure at her reaction, which had been practically nothing at all. She was supposed to amuse him with getting angry and perhaps having a hissy fit. The tom's whisker's twitched slightly and he gave his chest fur a few licks before bothering to answer. " I take it you're new around here, since I have never seen you. " That was the only explanation he offered her as his yellow orbs carefully studied her, in a completely neutral manner almost indifferently. [/blockquote][/color] |

she yawned, and sat up. "of course" she replied, examining her claws which were a dark, black-like color.

Burntkit nodded slightly glad that he was correct for once. Not sure what to say he simply gazed at his paws unaware that the she-kit was practically doing the same thing. His thin tail swished to and fro across the ground and finally he looked up. " Since you don't know me, I might as well tell you my name is Burntkit. (0_o Umm...you click Modify Profile, and then at the Display Name bar, you can type in Yellowkit, and then scroll down and click the Modify Profile button.
And no, it's not really weird, now that you think of it. ;])
