Skypaw woke in her nest, to the sounds of sniffling of the other apprentices. She sighed. They had all found love, and all had other friends. She wasn't the usual cat to rant about friendlessness, but she definitely didn't like having no one to talk to or play with. And she knew that other cats would feel the same sometimes, so why did this make her feel awkward and abnormal. Some things can never be answered.

Ivycloud was had finally put the kits asleep and wanted a little stroll around the camp. She stopped at the edge of the Apprentice's den. She had never been in there before, nor had she really ever talked to the apprentices. She shrugged and walked in. She spotted a familiar cat sitting in the den. "Hello Skypaw." She had a friendly gleam in her eyes.

Skypaw looked over at the queen confronting her. "Oh! Hello, Ivycloud, what brings you here?" she mewed. She had many kits in this clan, that queen, but Skypaw wasn't on of them.
