The petite black she-cat lay in her nest, wondering if she should go find her mentor to train, or just sit around.
There wasn't much to do if she sat around, most of the apprentices had become warriors.
But they're younger than me...
Whisperpaw's bright blue eyes scanned the den for any other life forms.

Whisperpaw was reminded of her old friend, now Foxtail.
She hadn't seen her in awhile.
All the old memories came flooding back.
Walking in the territory, pretending they were leader and deputy of IceClan.
Teasing eachother like friends do.
Hearing her say she would be gone for a little.
Shaking her head to rid her thoughts, she smiled.
"Nice name, Foxpaw."

When completely satisfied with her sleek, shining pitch black pelt, she turned back to Foxpaw.
