Wanting out

~ Shadekit was an ambitious kit, but not just ambitious about anything, he was ambitious to become a warrior, he counldn't wait to get out of the nursery and become an apprentice, but first he wanted to make some friends, he searched around the nursery to meet someone who hopefully would be his friend ~

hello shadekit *flowerkit mewed* ill be ur friend.

[Marshpaw]

Echokit was bored out of her mind.
She wanted to become an apprentice, hunt, battle train.
But no, she was stuck in the crowded nursery.

Seeing a grey tom-kit and amber she-kit, she padded over.

"Hello,"
The silver kit mewed.

[Galestorm]

" Hello i'm shadekit. " he mewed

Whitekit layed in her nest as her mind was in a dream. Her bright green eyes stared at the sun that was reaching into the darkness of the nursery.

Infernopaw brought fresh moss into the nursery to replace the old moss. She nodded at the kits, and took the moss from some of the nests and replaced it

Whitekit's bright green gaze followed the apprentices then turn back to the sun's rays that were fighting it's way into the den. As Whitekit's eyes started at the sun's Rays she said this poem in a soft tone
" Bright shining sun,
Lighting the world,
The world revolving around you,
My world revolving around you,
Too much sun will burn,
Leave scars,
The scars heal in time,
But not enough sun,
Can cause near irreparable damage,
That can only be fixed by the sun,
The ever burning sun,
Who outshines the moon and the stars,
Who is not always good for me,
Not always best,
But the sun is what i need to survive,
So I must deal with the burns,
Heal within the light of the sun,
To see what is beyond,
I must have the sun,
To guide the way."

Infernopaw smiled at the kit's poem.
"When the night is long
And the moon is unseen,
Never be confident,
Or be hunted by me.
An inferno by night,
Bringing death before day,
A nightmare haunting all,
And is never kept at bay."

she replied, and she padded out of the nursery

Whitekit heard that poem once before and when she thought about it she had chills running throught her black fur. "Why were things so scary and distrbing in this world why was there pain and suffering" the black kit thought to herself.

*Loudkit woke up and went over to join the other kits feeling alone*

Whitekit looked at the new kit that went to join the others and again she had thought of a poem that had come to her mind
"A friend is a person
to laugh and cry with,
An inspiration,
Someone who lends a helping hand,
though friends may not be forever,
And they may not end up together,
the memories of a true friendship will
last forever.
A friend is not a shadow nor a servant
But someone who hold
a piece of a person in his heart.
Someone who shares a smile,
Someone who brightens up your day
What makes a person a friend?
Is by saying your Love will stay."

Infernopaw again heard a poem said from inside the nursery. She started mumbling
" A broken heart is like a broken mirror; it's better to leave it broken than hurting yourself trying to fix it....."

Whitekit again got a cold shiver that rain thought her black fur "Why must the mirror break when it was mostly loved" She asked looking to the Nursery Entrance.

"because the mirror didn't feel the love like it should have been. The mirror felt love as pain, and pain as love..." she replied in a mumble

"A mirror must olny show what the person's heart feels a heart of pain can never heal fully" she said in return.
